LSU may very well be the most liberally run school in the SEC.

I gave up my season tickets and stopped contributions after the library renaming business.

I can't even pretend like this bothers me. If he's a fan, then he should rep his team. Your interests overlap with those of all types and it's probably better for you to accept that. You know, like sane people used to do.

That is now the National Guard facility. It’s a great place and I’ve done work in it when I was young and it still had residents. Had a great little golf course and incredible food in the cafeteria. All of the buildings had huge screened in porches and screened walkways between them. It’s still a nice facility.

I’ve known him for 40 years and while I have zero in common with him politically, he’s always been a very cordial, approachable guy who is very smart and interesting to talk to.

Him and my dad were friends and a few years ago I got on the elevator with him to the Stadium Club and he was awesome. I love that guy.

They did a Roast of James Carville shortly before that and my favorite comedian Jim Norton was one of the roasters...I need to find video of that.

James said Jim was, "Very nasty!"

By chance, I met him once as he was winding down some L.S.U. project.

He is not my political ally by any means.

I have and do admire his skill in that particular arena.

I'd definitely share a Maker's on the rocks with him. I'll even buy.

Whatever you think of him, he is a gentleman.

As an outsider looking in, nothing seems more authentically LSU than James Carville.

LSU is basically run by people like James Carville. Even the athletic department.

So you’re saying he didn’t fail out of LSU then 4 years later ended up taking night classes to get his General Studies degree? Then somehow got through law school?

I still fail to understand what makes him “Cajun”?

He’s more of a redneck River Rat than a “Rajun Cajun”

Thinking about it, James Carville is exactly the type of guy who would get kicks out of posting on TigerDroppings.

Which poster is James Carville?

If James Carville is from Georgia, then Robert Griffin is Japanese, John McCain is from Panama, and J Cole is a German
