Is it even worth voting for governor

I can’t believe there is so much support behind Landry. He is dumb as a brick. What is the attraction to this guy? Why can’t we have a legitimate Choice. Landry v. Wilson is like Trump v. Biden.

I’d say Xan is worth getting out there and voting for.

We should all vote for Sharon Hewitt just to goof around.

Not in Guam. The old hack only received 12k votes to win. She literally used covid money to keep her seat. Age limits would go along ways
The most corrupt government that falls under the stars and bars. That includes California and PR.

Voting for any candidate is giving consent to being ruled over.

Haven't you people learned? You want to put another Dem in the governor's mansion? People didn't like Vitter either. Regardless of how you felt about him, he would have been much better for the state.

Let’s just get a R back in there and stop bitching about our candidates not being perfect. Do you want another damn Democrat for another 8 years?

This is why Louisiana sucks as a state. You guys will stay home instead of voting for the better candidate.

Probably not. Who is the last Governor we’ve had that’s done anything meaningful for the State? The few Republicans have sucked and the Democrats have for sure sucked. Nothing is really going to change except we will have a loud mouthed blowhard throwing out sound bites for everyone to tweet about.

It’s pretty much settled Landry will be our next governor.
The only question is will it require a runoff or not.
All any of us dissenters can do is vote for somebody else, force a runoff, and make him spend more money to win the job.
Make it expensive for the little general. Go vote for ABJ…Anybody but Jeff!

Move. LA going to LA. Nothing is ever going to change; there is always an excuse to elect the baws that are your culture. Did you not get this with the Stelly plan, and the multiple Landrieus everyone keeps electing?
LA is so bad, it makes OK, AL, AR look good.

He’s buds with Jr. That’s it.
Despite being a Democrat and a gimp for Trial Attorneys.

The MOST IMPORTANT reason to vote for governor is all the other races being held.
The R's could get a super majority in house and senate.
Don't squander that chance

The difference between the governance of Trump and Biden is night and day. And pretending you have no choice is lame.
You may not like your choice. If not, urge someone of your liking to run or run yourself.
No one selected this race’s candidates; they either chose to run or not run.
So make your choice. Chose to vote or not, and for any candidate or not.

Wilson - JBEs guy. Thats a nope
Hewitt - wants to appoint DIMs. Nyet
Wags - Fought tooth and toenail to keep La. under covid mandates. Hell naw
Nelson - Already applied for the LABI job, so he wasnt a serious candidate. Then he drops out
Shroder - Has been a politician for 15 years, and I dont know a single good (or bad) thing he has done during that time
Youve had plenty of options. However, no decent candidate wants to enter the fray, because you have morons they will lie and attempt to destroy them, because of some personal bias or hidden agenda
Kinda like you just did

Presently considering Schroder or Hewitt.
Schroder only because he seems to be fiscally responsible and has been conscientious about getting money owed to citizens to them.
He did show some assertiveness in severing the state's ties with Blackrock.
But don't expect any of them to perform anything other than lip service in support of Secretary of State candidate Brandon Trosclair's "promise" of purging the voter rolls of illegitimate names.
What's been going on here since the days of A.C.O.R.N.
