1. More band less DJ and piped in music 2. LA-30 needs to be 5 lanes all the way to I-10 and I-10 6 lanes all the way to LaPlace. 3. River Road needs to be 4 lanes all they way to Sunshine Bridge 4. Need another I-10 bridge just south of campus. Things we don’t need. A 4 lane bridge in St. Francisville

Instead of blowing money to the Ukraine we could have all of this .

The crowd played a huge part in the game. It may have not been full but the crowd noise had a lot to do with them burning all three second half timeouts early and a lot of their penalties.

These post are exhausting. Death Valley was fine last night. Y’all people just want to live miserably.

That photo is sickening...this is LSU, right? ...what is happening?

If you think TS was fine...then perhaps you haven't been to a stadium thats full late in the game in a while?.... an SEC game should be full and energetic...game was close!

There is no shortage of love for LSU football...so whats going on?

Dont hate...but LSU folks who want change need to lay down their pride and Take a trip to Tuscaloosa... as an example...on a none football weekend...

....then go for the LSU game, enjoy and observe every detail on game day and then ask "why are we so far behind, on so many things?"...

It’s the 6th or 7th largest stadium in the world, it’s hard to fill.

I went to Starkville last week and they had a worse crowd in a much smaller stadium. It’s not an LSU thing.

I’ve been to every SEC stadium, our gameday experience is as good or better than any of them.

What kind of things are we looking for?

I was at the game, and the crowd for the most part was lit. DJ/piped in music goes on everywhere—doesn’t bother me, and the band plays after almost every down. Not sure what the issue is here.

I honestly think a good small-ish change would be to make the seats a darker color (purple perhaps) so the empty ones don’t show up as bright.

Everyone who has said it is right—empty seats are not just an LSU thing.

Fixing traffic problems would certainly help. After a gazzilion years, apparently they have given up !

That is what happens when fanbase is more worried with getting drunk and partying. LSU football is a social event for over half the fans and that’s why the stadium empties after halftime.

Imagine….chilly October night. Waves of bourbon flow over the sidelines. You can’t hear the guy next to you (he’s screaming). Then, the Tigers take the lead and win followed by drunks posting up for the night in Tiger Stadium.

That was a different time, and they’ll call me an old dude who’s out of touch with the times. I call it sad. I call it the evolution of a time I pity and won’t mind saying ‘good-by’ to.

Pageantry is lost and it sucks.

Well, I was over there to the right of you at Lod Cook. Guess y’all had the flow and that roundabout screwed us. Because we got in the truck at 10:10 and didn’t get to I-10 until 11:30ish. Won’t ever park at Lod Cook again. I’d rather do the hay lot and roll the dice on River Road.

But thanks for the share.

OK, so I could give a crap about concessions, people’s choices to split early or even not show up at all. We flew down for this one and made it a quick ‘in and out’. There were a ton of factors (you all know them) that led to a sort of ‘blah’ weekend.

No prob. I was back in Alexandria by 11:40. I really liked that 204 lot. It was a package deal with some tix I bought . I usually park in levee lots and take river road. I really don’t mind the walk.

That is not the problem. Many of these sideline people come and tailgate all day, show up late, and leave at halftime regardless of game situation.
They should scan tix on the way OUT, or keep a count of how many left a section. Then let anyone that wants the seats to come in for free. Or charge a nominal fee. Hell, might sell a seat 3 or 4 times a night.

You mentioned MSU stadium...in your argument...

We're talking Tiger Stadium...not a little brother in the SEC

Top 5 stadium in all of CFB...

And we're talking about game day experience...in 2023...

And many LSU fans are ticked off about fans leaving early or no shows

Is it an issue or not?

Traffic
Parking
Local restaurants
Local bars
Local hotels

Concessions
Bathrooms
DJs...music selection
Led light show etc

Can it be better or not?

I just spent the weekend in Tuscaloosa for the game...im telling you...lsu is way behind on the money train investing in the university and its immediate surroundings.

I've met LSU fans in Tuscaloosa, die hard alumni...they hate to admit it too but seeing is believing... the money laid down the last 15 years into Alabama's campus is in the billions...

This total investment plays into the experience as a student, parents and fans/alumni... no one is in a hurry to leave...that's it in a nut shell..

Lower ticket prices. They are making people choose games over other games. Average income people can’t afford to drop $70+ on multiple games.

They haven’t given up there’s just not much they can do. Traffic is worse than it used to be because you have more people on campus than there used to be. Every 100k stadium has traffic issues but not all of them have a river blocking an easy exit.

Hotels a half mile from the stadium in Tuscaloosa were getting 2,000 per night this weekend...4 grand for 2 nights...

600 to 900 per night is a "great deal.
".. near downtown

I don't know how people afford it...but the hotels are filled up...

Every nice restaurant and bar...packed with waiting lines

Build it and they will come....
