What is best spot for a car service to meet someone after an LSU home game?

A friend is going to the LSU game this weekend...he is getting a car service back to NOLA after the game. Is there an easy spot for the driver to meet him?
Would Tiger Land be a good spot? or would it be better for them to meet at the small parking lot on Stanford by the LSU lakes (Wampold park)...
Thanks in advance...

Don’t know the right answer but I can almost guarantee that this isn’t a good idea. Stanford would be the better option.

It's nearly impossible to drive into campus, so he would need to walk a bit.
Both of your suggestions might work, but not ideal.

Does he have any friends going to the game? Best idea is to catch a ride off campus and get dropped off at a hotel or restaurant away from campus.

Corner of Perkins and Stanford …unfortunately that is a long walk.

That neighborhood around Stanford/Perkins has been good area for me to get in and out from games

Tell your friend to either be prepared to make a long walk or wait for a good couple hours until contraflow dies down. If he can walk that far, probably just walk down Burbank all the way to The Shed or Lakeside Daiquiri and they can probably get picked up there (about a 4 mile walk). A ride service is not going to be able to get to Tigerland or the lakes on Stanford for at least a couple of hours after the game.
Sad thing is by the time they walk that far contraflow will probably be close to ending. Might as well just try to head back to a tailgate if possible to wait it out and then try to get a ride when the chaos dies down.

Could just buy a parking pass for the driver and have him wait, he would just be doing the same thing off campus anyways. He’s going to have to do a lot of walking to get off campus

The Perkins overpass area is the fastest way out.

Any streets named after a former president

Wampold is blocked in for contraflow out on Stanford. The best place is to meet up at John M Parker Ag Colosseum but the driver would have to be there before the game ends because S Stadium is contraflowed outbound.

There are car services meeting people in the parking lot that was Alex box.
And the parking lot that is just across the railroad tracks from old Alex box.
I do not know how they get there. Because both of those lots are parking pass lots

I’ve had success scheduling my driver in advance and having them meet over by the tennis courts. The only caveat is that they must get in early enough to avoid contra flow, which i believe starts near the beginning of the 4th QRT.

Cmon man, there’s contra flow leaving campus in all directions for up to several hours after the game starts. His only real option is to leave the game early.
If you don’t leave the game early, then he’ll have to walk down darlymple for several miles or walk down highland thru the ghetto towards downtown for several miles.
There’s no good place on campus or close to campus to meet to be picked up. This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen

Traffic circle on Darymple. Or one of the nearby church lots.

Your friend is going to need to wear walking shoes to get to the spot.

Its about a mile and a half walk from the Stadium, but I always try to get picked up at Oak Brook

From experience, where the car meets you is important, but not the 2 most important decisions. 1) No matter where you meet the key is having the car service get to the spot before contraflow starts in the 4th quarter, and 2) facing the right direction of traffic flow to leave campus. If they screw up 1 or 2 it will be a mess regardless.
Not sure of the contraflow plans these days, but in the past I had a car park in a street spot on Highland right off campus near Chimes. Safe, easy walk and contraflow on Highland going north to I-10.
Good luck!
