quote:Right. The people can force prices down.
At this rate we may eventually find out just how many eating joints are actually needed in a given part of town. Talk about an overly saturated market. But hey, they're all packed when I drive by, so we're still good right now I guess.
But like you said, same here where I live, shite is packed every Friday and Saturday night, so people aren't slowing down, they're just paying the higher prices.

I read this then looked to see who posted this trash

It’s amazing a bunch of ‘necks can ban together and boycott Bud Light, but keep overpaying for stuff that’s not a need. Don’t like the price, don’t buy it!!!!! Simple as that.
if only we could boycott your ability to post on Tigerdroppings…

I don't see the connection at all. How does not purchasing a brand of product and instead choosing a different brand of the same product equal not buying things that are wants and not needs?

Yes, you’ll all crack eventually and beg to go to a food coupon plan. All is going according to plan.

Look at the bright side of things..... nobody has to see mean tweets at 2 AM hurting the feelings of all the snowflakes in this country.

Bought a 4 inch pvc cap yesterday and it was $19. Local hardware store so I knew it would be more but damn.

Wow. I am shocked. You have 73 upvotes to 3 down votes for this post. I can’t believe the Wal Mart Republicans which make up the vast majority here didn’t vote you into oblivion.

I have 3 deep freezers. Buy half a cow each year, plus deer meat.
Friend works for Sysco and orders me bulk stuff when they have inventory to offload. Just bought 44 lbs of miscue chicken wings from him for 20 bucks

some stuff to make a wet clothes hangar above our dryer
HD sold cabinet that above a dryer one time. Seemed like a good idea. I think it was an integrated solution.
They just disappeared.

These delta towns decline in population every year yet somehow keep adding restaurants
People don’t cook at home like they used to. Also why everyone is fat nowadays.

That's because you assume these Wal Mart Republicans are aware they're the ones voting against their interest.

agree, this is just scratching the surface.
I’d they are not stopped, we are talking a complete & purposeful collapse of the $USD, the Great Depression will look promising compared to what’s coming.

The scariest part of all of this is how Biden is successfully selling "Bidenomics" as a success.
I won't rehash the anecdotical, but in 2019, my average AMEX bill was $3670. Groceries, gas, eating out, clothing, just day-to-day spending outside mortgage and utilities.
So far in 2023, my monthly average is ~$5500 and I feel like we are trying to cut back a little.
I dont see how those on a fixed income are making it. My wife's grandmother has spent through about $20k in savings in the last couple years.

Can you explain exactly what people are voting for right now to cause the prices of everything to be through the roof. Let's start with the hardware store and food since these are the two topics at hand

Having 40% of every dollar done before you get check and ans extra 20-30% of cost on things after..yet people will still believe the Potato in Chief doing a good job.
