I had similar issues for about 4 years. Ex wasn't abusive but wouldn't let me see my kids based nothing but having control and had me arrested for bullshite charges that were thrown out.
I'm very close with my kids, and like you, domt frick with my kids.

It wasn't until Cindy Hyde-Smith got into office I was able to get something done. She is the best.

Kids deserve the best and even thru divorce, deserve the least amount of collateral damage as possible. Women just don't see it that way. Too much venom in them.

You got to give more information such as why he was scared. If he's scared because mom was about to whoop that arse for being disrespectful of something then you need to set him straight. Sounds like maybe your kids playing you knowing your disgust for your ex

My wife isn't abusive, but I'm not leaving it up to anyone to decide my rights when it comes to my kids. That's the only reason I'm still married to their mother. I honestly don't know if it's a good thing because I get more bitter as time goes on. Only 10 more years to go.

I feel your pain. Lol. I have 7 years left on my sentence. Little one just made 11. The state loves to empower females and punish good dads and just make a separate living situation for a kid worse than it ever needed to be.

I think I recognize this guy from the family court system. There is a case that most of the family lawyers follow. The guy usually represents himself. Sad pointless drama, 3 kids and it has been going on for 3-4 years.

The last story I heard from it - the Dad Kory was asking for increased custody. He had the mom of the kids on the stand for a full day. The judge had him end the questioning after 1 day because the questions were leading and inconsequential. Then, he called himself to the stand and literally asked questions and then answered them! Hahaha. At the end of that trip to court, the guy had to pay her lawyer and court fees.

My son and I sat on my tailgate, about 50 yards from the house and talked. When my daughters realized I was there, they ran out and came to me for their own safety as they were scared. We stayed there and never went a step towards anyone until the wonderful officers showed up and made them go back to their mom and charged me. Stated the mom and grandfather said I threatened him when I got there.
Was there a restraining order involved? Otherwise sounds like ex or her bf know the cops. Would definitely document and bring to family court. Get a lawyer and foia body cams and get the charge dropped.

I get regular counsel to make sure my parenting is as good as it can be. The word is that as long as your children are getting good parenting 50% of the time then they will be pretty ok. I don't know what your custodial split is, but do your part. Ofc this gets complicated if there are active and significant negatives the other 50% of the time.

We can honestly shave about 3 years off of the sentence if we need to, so that's a good thing. Once they start driving and get jobs, who has custody is really a moot point. I have 2 daughters though, so I'm not likely to leave cracks in the foundation so to speak. I can essentially have my own life then anyway.

Sounds like you guys picked really poorly. Really shows you all have a lack of quality judgement.

So which scumbag "family" law attorney's office are you affiliated with, LAStrong80? Weird that you only have one post and this is what you comment on.

Apparently, in Louisiana at least, children can have their own advocates/attorneys around 12 ish. Parents have to pay at least. So if mamma is acting like trash, you don’t have to wait till 18. As far as I understand anyways.

If he called the Mom it is a cross examination and leading is allowed. Nice try though.

Camera sunglasses can really come in handy. Perch 'em up on top of your ballcap and the camera lens is unlikely to be noticed. Walmart has cheap versions for under $50 but I'm not sure if they have audio. A good audio pair should be well under $200. And if you ever do cross the line remember that a cheap benzomatic torch is great for permanently deleting data from gadgets.
