I'd get some rest before spending eternity in Hell, but to each his own.

mind boggling comment from DU:

"She's too old! She's too old!

And we'd have never survived Jan. 6 if she hadn't been in charge."

Pelosi - one of the front row poster children for Term Limits.
Beyond time for Term Limits - no more than 10 years in both chambers combined.
Lifetime ban against any lobbying/representation post-Congress and
no lifetime health and pension.

Does it really matter? It isn't like her district is going to flip.

At least this way the taxpayers are not paying a salary and her retirement.

Now if someone like a Manchin didn't run then we might pick up a seat.

Also , when someone votes in San Francisco does their vote automatically go for pelosi ?

January 6th wouldn't have even happened if she hadn't declined the Sgt at Arms offer to have the national guard there.

These people are political junkies/addicts. There should be a rehab for these people to go to. They are not serving the people. They are serving themselves. If a President can get only 4-8 years in office, congress should have something similar to that. You are done after your allotted term is up. All they do is bend the rules in congress to benefit their bank accounts. If you have not watched House of Cards, you can see a big picture of how things work in DC.

I get it though. Once people get into DC they get a taste of money and the financial benefits, you are hooked no matter the cost.

On one side of the coin, I'm sick of the sunsetters who want to live out their golden years clinging to power while barely clinging to their faculties.

On the other side, when we say we need to replace the 80 year Olds with younger leaders, that gets you emo-governing millennial trash like AOC. Frankly I think tomorrow's Democrats are far more extreme and dangerous in governance than the current crop of 80 year olds.

Talk about selfish and self serving.
