It couldn’t be for NIL as I doubt Apple would pay them to break rules, but why wear something obvious if cheating. Wouldn’t you hide it in arm band or maybe your the back hand side of gloves?

I don’t think it was used for advantage, but they could implement something simple to correspond to a different haptic feedbacks (vibration like) or quantities of them.
