If you plan on time-travel back to the year 1951, then sure.

Was thinking about getting one too. Might be interesting and educational.

Or we can just spend our reading time on this board. Interesting but seldom educational.

After seeing a few headlines saying the almanac predicts a frigid winter, I decided to see what it predicted for this summer.

Average to above normal temps. Warm and rainy for Louisiana.

So if you want to waste time and money, go ahead and get it. If you just want to waste time, stay on the OT.

The Farmer’s Almanac forecasts whether it’s worth getting the Farmer’s Almanac.

My dad gets one every year to help him plant his garden. Always has a good garden. Don’t know how much the two correlate, but it’s good bathroom reading.

I mean, I have some old ones (as in maybe 2 or 3 from the past 15 years or so). You want them?

My Grandfather was a rice farmer his whole life. I can remember as a kid, seeing the almanac in the glove box of his truck. He'd read from it when looking for rain or using it to get ready to plant.

Side bar ... spent many a weekend walking the levies looking for leaks. Good work ethic is something not many kids these days have...

Can't go wrong with that purchase, in my humble opinion, just in case, if you get what I mean, brethren...

Just got it. Seems it's going a little more woke. Also noticed more Canadian stuff mentioned.
