As for myself, im really worried about CB.
Obviously nothing you can do about it now but if we don't get pressure on the QB then LSU will have to find other ways to stop them.

Maybe play some zone.

Is Denver Harris gonna play? Can he make a difference in our secondary?

Very concerned after watching raw practice footage on Tiger Gold. Duece(22) is undersized and Zy (24) seems slow of foot. #17 Hilton and #8 Nabors were wearing them out! I was most impressed with (26) Stamps. He looks to get early PT.

Imma be honest it’s a huge concern. We don’t have close to s traditional lsu shutdown secondary rn. Theirs no Derek Stingley, greedy Williams, kristian Fulton or Tre white level lock down cover corner. Having said that, the cb room does have more potential than last year. Zy alexander wirh his length and ball skills can be a capable no.1. The rest of the room tho is unknown.

Duce chestnut seems likes a smart corner but he has some athletic limitations in terms of his long speed, sage Ryan we flat out don’t know what to expect from him at outside corner, Denver Harris beyond his attitude drama has not performed well in practice and hasn’t even gotten a rep wit the first team so he’s out of fold atm despite his raw talent and stamps has been the suprise of camp his future appears bright. Welch Depsite a strong spring didn’t snag a cb job like many expected. So overall, it is a position group that Will absolutely lean on the pass rush to take pressure off them

Honestly it looks way better than it did last year.

ETA: Obviously, CB is a concern right now. If we can see that from the outside, the coaches know. They've earned the right to figure this out. I just think we've got more talent than we did coming into 2022.

I think we have some young guys that are gonna shine Sunday.
But, we absolutely have to get pressure with quality containment.

Not at all. We have a ton of talent and the worry is overblown. If we have several injuries we’ll be in trouble but Duce and Zy are studs

Alexander, Chestnut, Stamps, Welch. Solid 4 deep any of whom would be solid even as a ztater. Not worried at all unless injury bug then we will need to shuffle some bodies arpund.

Likely our biggest question mark.
And coupled with our next biggest question - DE, and you have to feel like there will be some games we may give up some points.

FSU is a team that may be able to score a lot on us. Our offense has better show up.

CB and QB. Hopefully the QB can bring his yards per attempts up. If not looking at 4-5 losses again

Pretty concerned… I know it can make or break this team achieving their goal.

Hoping the D line/blitzing linebackers can generate enough pressure to make things easier on the CBs…

Its the most concerned I am about a position on our team TBH. But I trust House to put together a good gameplan.

Friend of mine did an NIL deal with a LSU receiver. The receiver was asked at the NIL meetup who was the best cover guy and he said hands down it was Harris. Said the DB’s will be fine. They aren’t going to go against much better WR’s than they do at practice everyday.
