those tickets are worth $1000 for the season so bitching about kids not getting cheap tickets is wild

Mickey you should apply to be the president of the LSU!! You damn near know everything.

Let’s be real, it was communicated to freshmen in emails that you could only get half the games, but the website allowed both purchases to go through so some students tried to get both.

The point is students cannot go to all home games. Would you rather watch Georgia State or Florida Mickey?

I get that you're mad (as I would be too) but you're acting like you're the first incoming student class to not get tickets to all games. LSU fricked up but it sounds like they're trying to resolve it pretty quickly with the survey. There's not some instantaneous fix. The first home game isn't for almost 2 weeks, so hopefully it's straightened out by then.

Had to apply for a group of games my freshman year (fall ‘08) and didn’t get any tickets. I was still able to buy a student ticket from other students who got tickets who either couldn’t or didn’t want to go to the game that weekend. This isn’t anything new…

This is a bold face fricking lie. I was a freshman in ‘08 and got tickets to every single game. As did EVERYONE I know, if you got screwed it must’ve been your fault

Dumb. If you’re a student you should have a chance at tickets to all home games.

That mother fricker knows nothing. Good luck and hope it works out for all students.

It was communicated after everyone purchased both packages. Once again, you know everything.

That’s messed up. I’d go straight to the ticket office and talk to them about it.

In my dealings with the ticket office, they probably locked the doors and turned off the lights once they realized there was a problem.

Yeah that's fricked up. When I was at LSU in the 2010's I remember they did the package thing once or twice, but I guess the demand wasn't as high as they expected and pretty much everyone was able to go to every game.

They should be able to accommodate any student who wants to attend. If that is not done there should be some kind of overflow alternative. Maybe a giant TV on the parqde grounds?

My son had purchased at 9:00 and then got the email about the rules.

Then the ticket office sent an email about choosing one of the packages if you bought two. and the reversed the package colors (Gold or Purple) with the assigned games. So some kids choose by color and got the wrong games.

They need to honor the original purchase. First come first serve. Quit trying to "let everyone win"

Well glad I'm not a student anymore. Honestly, we had to select a package as a freshman but everyone I knew got the entire season ticket package.

This is the wrong criteria, they should sell all game tickets to those who answer YES to this question, "Will you stay for the entire game?"

This is actually an area I think Woodward and Tate deserve major criticism. It’s unbelievable how complicated and difficult the process is for students to attend games. It didn’t start with them, but they’ve done nothing to correct it. I swear at times it feels like LSU works against the student body for no reason other than they can.

My understanding is that second-third-fourth-fifth year students get tickets to all home games.

Year one kids get tickets only to 3 or 4 games that first year.

Given how big LSU has become, that seems rational to me.

I just texted my kid who's a junior. She just "bought tickets" a few weeks ago, none of this package selection stuff

Sounds like the ticket office tried to give more Freshman a chance at getting a few games, and fricked it all up
