Procedure itself is a breeze
Post surgery does feel like you’ve been kicked in the nuts for 3ish days, but not a big kick
Yes to frozen peas

You'll survive.

The numbing feels like a hornet sting in ur nuts but it gets better fast.

Even if its not hurting, take a pain pill before you go to sleep on the day of the procedure. The long acting numbing agent will wear off at 3 AM and you'll wake up sweating and grabbing the sheets.

After that, it's all downhill. Within 2 days you'll be fine

Whatever you do, give yourself more than the weekend off.

You will bump the side of your sack on that Monday and about collapse

Reading this thread makes me realize I must’ve had an abnormally bad experience because the procedure itself was miserable. I needed four shots before it was somewhat tolerable then afterwards was pretty decent as long as I had frozen peas on it. I’m happy I did it though.

It’s not too bad, but one thing that’ll really help the post op is if you make sure you have a boner while they are doing the procedure. Something about opening up the passages to make it less invasive, plus it gives them a handle.

The shots are, well… unpleasant. During the procedure I felt what I can only describe as a slight feeling of having been hit in the balls; not as intense as actually having been hit in the balls, but the same sensation, just far less intense.

Brother had it done. Said it was near painless. About a week later they swole up and he was afraid to stand up. He said bigger than grapefruits. I took his word on it. He was laid up a couple of weeks with swelling.

I took Kung Fu. Took shots to the nuts that hurt worse. 6.5/10. But I milked it for all it’s worth to have my wife let me watch whatever I wanted and lie around for three days.

I’ll put it this way……

If you had to do one at a time, I’d be walking around with one that works and one that doesn’t. Don’t recommend

The way he did mine was to give me a shot and then wait a minute and give me a poke to make sure it was numb enough. First side no problem. Second, yep still feel that. More local. Yep still feel that. After about 6 shots on the left side I’m thinking it’s not that bad I can just grit my teeth and power through. Then the doc realized the way he was sitting or something had managed to pinch a different part of my sack every time he went to give me a poke and that’s what I kept feeling. Once he moved his hand I couldn’t feel a thing on that side for 3 days

A little pin prick to deaden the pain. I watched him do the snip and stitch it up while we chatted about the procedure.

I was prepared for misery but only had a little swelling and I was pretty careful on movement for a couple of days, it was fine. Don't remember much pain at all.

Well, the needle to the banus area stings like heck. After that you feel some tugging but no real pain. Then you smell the burning flesh. It finally ends.

Actual procedure is painless the two weeks after are moderately painful. It’s probably a lot more bearable if you follow instructions but not many people including myself do.
