So the government will probably want to make a pretty strong statement with these opening cases, amirite? Leave nothing to chance because an opening loss would be extremely bad for them. They’ll want to overwhelm the defense with airtight evidence.
Also, the charges of most of these defendants arising out of the same situation or “conspiracy” and same set of alleged facts, the same collection of evidence and the same/similar strategy and case theories will be used amongst the defendants.
The above being the case, how would you not see this situation being of complete benefit and advantage to Trump and the others by being a detailed preview of the case(s) against them? Perhaps so much so that this could very reasonably be intentional?

Trump and everyone know the case against them.
The prosecutors don't know Trump's defenses and are getting a potential free bite at the apple to refine everything for the real show.
If that hole is big enough, it could create impacts along the entire line, but that's no guarantee.

I refuse to believe that’s the real answer of an actual attorney. You telling me being able to observe your trial before it happens is not the ultimate advantage? Well I guess the true ultimate advantage would be a loaded jury, but short of that, this is basically akin to having the actual upcoming test itself to prepare with.

This applies to the prosecution and defense, though.
We know what they're going to allege against Trump, et al, though. We (including the prosecutors) don't know what Trump will attempt as his defense until trial.
The prosecution has to reveal their hand well prior to trial. The defense can hold a lot back until trial.
