Asking for a friend

I guess you’re not a leader if you’re polling the forum.

Vivek first to have his hand up

That's not what he did

It was a bad look.
That said, a leader would have voted in the last few Presidential elections, something Horshak there did not bother to do.

Vivek would also be the first to raise his hand for any question and then two days later claim he never raised his hand.

Pence is the more curious case here. He’s definitely not one to be persuaded by others, in fact he relishes the moments where he can claim his bold braveness by standing on principle.I’m wondering if he and Ron understood it was a raise your hand question before they saw others raise.
On face value, Ron does come across weak here, although as governor who’s tough on crime, he’s walking a tightrope. When you’re in that position, it’s not easy to say that someone recently convicted of a felony should be President. This will almost definitely be used against him by liberals in Florida. Hell, he he’s been firing DA’s for not enforcing the law, and is now on national TV taking this position.
Much easier position to take when you’re a salesman trying to be Trump’s running mate.

A leader posts Mehdi Hasan columns on his Dollar Tree version of Twitter

Some of you probably thought you were "leaders" when you were children and were the first with your hands up.
This is what desperation looks like, folks.

Right. It’s what you did.
It’s a workable analogy. But derail your own thread if you like. I’ll go down the rabbit hole with you.

Ron was checking the wind and Vivek had the funniest answer when he licked his finger and pointing at Ron.
Vivek is fast speaking and reacting and thats what a great leader is.
Ron Bots give it up Ron is slow to the punch.

Watch Ron DeSantis decide in real time whether he will support Trump as the nominee
(Spoiler: he waited for several other candidates to make their decision before slowly raising his hand)

DeSantis, Pence and Christie all took a massive L on this. Neither of them wanted to do it but got peer pressured into. Hilarious watching those three raise their hand one after the other

Does it bother you that you certainly own clothing older than Vivek's political opinions?
He largely says the right things, but the guy didn't bother to vote in the last several elections. Does this not send of red flags for people?

To be fair;
A question before, he objected to the whole “raise your hand if….” Stuff and I think he was expecting the others to not play along or at least be given the same chance to say how goofy it was.
When the others raised, I think he just was resigned to it and reluctantly joined.
He is a politician so he is open to the ridicule.

quote:Sure it is. Ron knows these indictments are complete bullshite. Has absolutely nothing to do with being tough on crime or other nonsense like that

DeSantis said he would support the nominee but clearly looks like he didn't mean it
