Not voting does not bug me at all. That is a pretty silly litmus test in my opinion

Kind of reminds me of a lot of Trump supporters who waited on Donald to tell them how they needed to feel about DeSantis.

That's bad, but the absolute worst was that fatass Christie.

If true, it's a good thing none of them are running for leader of the free world.

Will you support the nominee no matter who ( Trump)?

Yup.

You can almost see the wheels turning.

"This shite again?!? Damn, wait...they're doing it? If I don't raise my hand, I'll get hammered for wanting Trump in prison. Now it's been 6 seconds...frick."

And you know if he'd have kept his hand down and tried to answer the question using words, the board would be using that photo as proof he wants Trump in jail.

But yeah, it's "looks" bad for sure.

Even better. It’s a question he’s already answered before.

For a normal person maybe but not a guy wanting MY vote. He was so disinterested in the process he didn't bother?

I'm also not a fan of someone just forming hard core political opinions out of the blue. Not saying you can't evolve them, but seemingly going form apolitical to Rand Paul is, um...worrisome for me.

Good to see you, btw.

He is a politician so he is open to the ridicule.

So, in essence, he felt pressured to go along. My apologies if I'm misinterpreting your assessment, but that doesn't help his case for the presidency.

As I said, I didn't watch.

Nope just voting for it.

And coming in to do so with opinions swayed by looking around and seeing how they need to answer.

That being said. It’s a bad look but before that he also harped on the raising hands stuff so who knows his reasoning behind it. They also randomly changed the question up from Trump indictments and what they thought about them to one about Pence and J6 before DeSantis and others got to really give their opinion on the indictments. Fox is a mess.

The dude jumping all in with ESG/DEI in 2020, before completely pivoting when he decided grifting as a Republican would be more successful should be a huge red flag for anyone.

Anybody in the thread - do you think DeSantis made his mind up about how to answer the question at that moment?

Does a leader duck any opposition and take the easiest path possible?

I was just giving context. I’m not propping him up or tearing him down. Just explaining what was happening in the moment

Would a leader intentionally take an only potentially disadvantageous route rather than the “easier” one en route to the eventual goal? That would be a pretty dumb leader.
