Not only are women weak, but incredibly slow. It’s honestly shocking how slow they are when you do any athletic competition with them
My gf is pretty damn quick. We play basketball regularly against each other, and she is impressive going to the basket. She's surprisingly strong too. But she has Russian genes.

Because that is the equivalent to the pro female.

I don't disagree. Your average man will outclass even a professional fighter when it comes to size and strength, but I also think we underestimate how hard it is to get out of a submission hold. If you get frick around and get caught in a choke hold, there ain't much you can do when you can't breathe.
I know it's not the same thing. But my wife took couple of years of jiu jitsu when she was younger. While wrestling around, I've had to tap out multiple times against her. Perhaps if I wasn't afraid to hurt her and used 100% of my strength I wouldn't have gotten caught to begin with. But once caught, my strength can't even help anymore.

The thread isn't about would female pros beat male pros it is about can the man on the street beat a top level female pro. Next thing you know baws here will be saying they could beat Breanna Stewart one on one, ride a bike farther in an hour than Ellen van Dijk, and outscore Lilia Vu on the lake course at the Olympic Club in Open conditions.
You here to tell us nobody that isn’t trained in power lifting can’t compete as well?
Using other sports here is useless you see

I would beat Stewart in one on one pretty easily

The complete failure of this hypothetical lies in the fact a 14yo could not possibly have the training and technique that Nunez has. You are putting a modestly trained fighter in the place of a world-class Jui Jitsu and Judo fighter. The substitution is laughable because Amanda's advantage is her mastery of the combat sports techniques which don't occur in a child.

In the other sports you love to bring up, it’s been proven 14 year old elite boys are the equivalent to the female pro. But now, you don’t want to use those other sport comparisons. Convenient. Even in more technical sports than mma, 14 year old boys are the equivalent to the female professional, eventhough the female lack the experience. So your reasoning above is pure shite
Also, I see you don’t want to discuss the female bench press world record for the 132 pound division

Me, yes? Average OT'er who's fat, slow, and bitches about how hot it is outside as he sweats though his PFG shirt? No

quote:No and neither would the average US male assuming they have no previous fighting/wrestling/martial arts training. Also Nunez probably walks around at about 155 lbs. Jiu-jitsu is the great equalizer.

Testosterone is more of an equalizer in all aspects of life regarding physical activities

Would I have a hard-on during it?

You do realize that 110# male would likely still prove to be 2x as strong as the 135# female, right???
For those that are weak, out of shape, and have no submission knowledge, they could easily lose. Real men, in decent health and rudimentary knowledge of submissions, it would only be a fluke to lose.

I very purposely picked sports (in the case of cycling a specific type of race) where technique is more important than raw strength. The fact you are placing strength over technique and experience demonstrates how limited your view of combat sports is. You think the average guy is going to grab Nunez take her down and walrus her into submission. 9 out of 10 times that simply won't happen.
Posted on 8/22/23 at 4:49 pm to Obtuse1
In power lifting technique is extremely important. Maybe you don’t understand the sports here

The entire scenario is about the untrained average Joe. If they have submission knowledge than this hypothetical doesn’t apply to them

Son, with a link of boudin between my fingers and a whiskey in the same hand.
Having said that... It's hot as shite and I'm going get an IV after work just for the recovery aspects

No, I'm old now and smoke dope have no cardio and don't know all the shite.
If I was a pro MMA fighter, I'd learn what chiropractors know. What things to target.
