Rayville Doctor’s family in terrible car crash

No news link because it happened this morning, but story is that Dr. Addison Thompson’s wife and 3 kids were on the way to first day of school and got rear ended by a grain truck on HWY 425. Grain truck caught fire and caught her SUV on fire. 2 of 3 children passed away with the wife and middle child surviving with injuries.
I drove up on it no more than 10 mins after impact. Prayers and thoughts for that entire family. Can not even begin to imagine what that is like.

Terrible. I had a friend many years back who watched his two trapped children burn to death in their car. The guy had burn scars on his arms like you wouldn't believe from trying to get the kids out.

My goodness. My heart just sunk for that family, whom I don't even know. I can't and don't want to try to imagine what they are going through
