Deer Fight

This is a double post from the O-T, but this altercation occurred over a deer. I dont know who was in the wrong or who was in the wright. This is how disputes used to be settled and I hope the law was not involved. Seems like these baws figured it out.

The woman squalling in the background is the smartest one of the bunch, but it's funny at the end that she is worried he is destroying her yard. I guess she won't be on the garden tour this year after all.

Makes you wonder if you go to someone's house to start crap, how many time to you need to get hit in the head to finally leave?

I was pretty amazed at the amount OT'ers saying the 2x4 wielder was in the wrong. From my point of view, man shows up at someone elses house and is talking shite. Then takes a step toward the old man before he gets wacked. Getting lit up side the head with the board was the least those guys could've done to him. If I'm them, I'm not sure I'm letting him get back into his truck without the cops there. I'd be pointing a gun at him telling to sit down and wait for the cops or he's going to get shot. I guarantee a cop is going to unload on someone who is acting like that and then tries to get back in a vehicle for god knows what.

Of course that is what I'd do as an armchair quarterback. Who knows in a real life high adrenaline situation.

I'd bet money the dude had been drinking too. Just seems like he was acting like someone who had a little too much liquid courage.

Doubt this was about a deer, but no doubt it's probably Yazoo county...

My grandfather taught me early in my life to never let another man come on your place a start shite and get away with it. Old man with the walking tall timber did the right thing. The skinny punk with the shovel was a pussy.

At least they don’t have shovels usually at the public launch. But if that was their house and state has stand your ground laws they can use appropriate force to make the man leave after he refuses to do so. I think the old man wasn’t hitting very hard with that wood and the son was protecting a loved one and property.

I’m shocked that now women got in the middle of it. They tend to .

Clearly a case of redneck justice, but still you can't do that. Someone is already video taping the incident, so just tell the man to leave and wait on police if he doesn't. Luckily no one was killed, but several people - including innocent people - could have been over a stupid freaking deer. Based on what I saw, they should all lose their right to hunt because clearly they can not control their anger and allowing them to possess a gun is just a recipe for a disaster!

Likely nothing to do with a deer, but with some type of property owned by white shirt. You people who think you can just shoot some on your property, even in the 'Sip, when the person is not physically threatening you, you may want to talk to a defense lawyer (or the county DA). These are not open-and-shut, clear-cut cases, any person who teaches concealed carry will tell you that, plus if you do pull the trigger it's going to cost thousands in legal fees plus a civil lawsuit from the deceased family.

To me, it seems that this was not the first confrontation these folks had. For it to escalate that quickly it seems to have had some history to it.

If it's a trespass issue then you need to get the proper law authorities involved, period.

After OB comments and a rewatch, white shirt dude and pistol dude had already had altercation previously.

No one welcomes someone with a 2x4/pistol, that just pulls up to talk/ask for information in your driveway.

Pistol/shovel boy, repeatly said you not going to touch me "again", which insuates an earlier confortation lead to white shirt getting the better of pistol boys arse. Which is why old man "who obviously knew who white shirt was" came out with 2x4 and pistol boy with pistol.

Now, I'm the furtherest thing from a sheriff, DA or lawyer, but the fact pistol boy traded the gun "if he really felt threathen" to a shovel proves he just wanted to inflict harm to white shirt. Otherwise he woulda shot white shirt dead on the spot.
