Eric Stewart was a criminology professor at Florida State University. Stewart published studies throughout his career promoting the idea that ‘systemic racism’ plagues America. Eric Stewart published data claiming that White Americans sought harsher sentencing for Hispanic and Black Americans.

Stewart also attempted to blame racism in America on Conservatives, particularly White Conservatives.

Now Stewart is out of a job, as his University has fired him over claims of extreme negligence. It turns out that Stewart has been falsifying the data for his studies for years, skewing numbers and figures in order to create his own desired outcome.

Florida State University claims that Stewart was fired over “incompetence” and “false results.”

Six of Stewart’s false, blatantly anti-White studies have been retracted. His studies were published in many publications throughout the years, including Criminology and Law and Society Review.

Though Stewart has been reprimanded for his lies, the damage that his false rhetoric has done to Americans subjected to the academic system has already been done.

Shocked.

Shocked, I tell you!

Flummoxed

Flabbergasted

A letter to Stewart from James Clark, the provost, said, “You demonstrated extreme negligence in basic data management, resulting in an unprecedented number of articles retracted, numerous other articles now in question, with the presence of no backup of the data for the publications in question.”

Justin Pickett, an associate professor of criminal justice at the University of Albany, of the State University of New York, said Stewart allegedly made racism seem more common than it is through his data and surveys that altered sample sizes in five co-authored research papers where he was responsible for data and analyses.

Repeated attempts to reach Stewart for comment were unsuccessful. But he denied any fraud and instead said that the problems resulted from “analysis errors that included coding mistakes and transcription errors,” according to withdrawal letters he wrote to the journals that published the studies.

In a response to the intent-to-terminate letter in March, Stewart stated that the investigation and process to terminate him were “arbitrary, capricious and discriminatory in nature.”

There is no data to prove current systematic racism.

Its all based on individual interpretation some academics systemized for stupid people.

Good on FSU for firing him.

See too many far left professors doing stuff like this and not having any consequences for doing so. College is supposed to be a place of open discussion and learning from multiple points of view. Not just the view of communist idiots.

99% or real racism was eradicated from America by the mid 80s.

So most of the racism we see today is made up.

Racism seems to have a greater demand than supply.

The old adage about “if you only carry a hammer everything begins to look like a nail” is appropriate here.

If you truly believe racism is the root of all problems you can make it so. The people reviewing this guys work (his peers) wanted the data to be correct because it showed the answer they already knew to be true.
