I can't take that seriously when I walk into a Walmart and I see 25 different guys with PFG shirts, sunglasses hanging down their backs, getting into big Ford trucks with thin blue line stickers on their rear window. It's almost a joke how in line men fall with other men.
It’s because they’re pussies. They’re scared of being left out and want to fit in so they copy each other’s clothing style and mannerisms. Copying someone’s fashion style is a feminine trait, that’s what high school girls do.

What data? You mean the random numbers in the OP with no link?

The cognitive dissonance of "this generation is irresponsible with money" and "why is everyone waiting until 30 to have kids" is kind of impressive

I couldn't imagine having a kid in my 20's. Wife and I prioritized our careers first and now looking to start a family in our early 30's.
My parents did the same thing and had my brother and I in their late 30's/early 40's.
Though I appreciate your internet rant that is backed up by absolutely no facts.

Can we get a source on these percentages? Most of my peer group aren’t having kids until ~30 even if they were married well before.

And that's a good thing. We don't need "dog moms" out here having human children.

It’s pretty wild

I totally agree.
Same with abortion, do you really want women who abort kids raising children?
Some things are for the best. As people become separated from nature, they become less fit to parent.

Right? What’s the average out of pocket cost for having a child if you’re not on Medicare (and we’re talking just the actual birth and very short hospital stay)?

You also have to as a couple either (a) make enough money to pay rent/mortgage, child care and expenses or (b) for one of the two to make enough for house and expenses and allow the other spouse to stay home with the kids. That takes at least 5-10 years after college for most people, especially in moderately urban areas, and that’s if they have a really good job and do well at it.

I’m 33 and have a good job, at least average looking, etc. I have a lot more success on dating apps with the mid and early 20s age range. It’s not that I’m not interested in the ~30 age, they just seem to be looking for way too much.

Single women also single handedly deliver the popular vote to Democrats in national elections.

Of these 10% will be due to fertility issues. These women’s only chance to have kids were in their 20’s. They thought they had plenty of time but, unfortunately, they did not.
Dude, women can have children well into their 40s. You don’t know what the frick you’re talking about.

What you said may be true, but only in the context of demanding a certain standard of living.
If one were to accept living in a trailer,
Cooking meals at home, driving old cars, etc, it would be doable much earlier.
Young people who refuse to lower their expectations for standard of living are playing a risky game at the end of which they may be childless and alone.

OK, but a lot of people view providing a certain standard of living as a key component of responsibly bringing kids into the world. That’s very reasonable imo, and is a great explanation for why couples would wait a bit.

My wife was 32 & 34 when our kids were born. I have 2 from a previous marriage that lived with us so we initially thought we would not want to have kids but that changed over the years and we got a bit of a late start. We had 0 difficulties but I know plenty of people who have had multiple miscarriages and extreme difficulties conceiving in their 30s.
A graph for your perusal.
