I'd love to retire the numbers of all of these guys mentioned, but with football and required position numbers, you'd run out of eligible numbers. So retire the heisman winners, but add the names and numbers of the other great players to the facade.

Charles Alexander was 4th in the Heisman Voting. So the order should be:
Cannon
Stovall
Alexander
Russell
Cannon
Stovall
Alexander
Russell

T Casanova --- a 3 time All-American. If I am not mistaken at that time freshmen were ineligible by rule.

You can't retire numbers of the numerus tiger greats, but I wouldn't mind a "Ring of Champions" type thing with Tittle, Faulk, Cassonova, et al.
Start on the LSU side.
1st Y.A. Tittle
Let's make it easy. All who were college All-Americans that are now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This is just a start.

tommy casanova, hands down
from wikipedia...
After high school, Casanova went to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he became one of the greatest LSU football players in the history of the institution. He played three seasons for LSU: 1969, 1970, and 1971. At LSU, Casanova did it all, playing running back, punt returner, kick returner, and defensive back. During each of his three years at LSU, he was selected as a member of the College Football All-America Team (Casanova is the only three-time All-American in LSU history). In the September 13, 1971 issue of Sports Illustrated, the magazine featured Casanova on the front cover, with the headline: "Tommy Casanova of LSU, Best Player in the Nation." In 2000, the Walter Camp Football Foundation selected Casanova for their All-Century team [1] (honoring the best college football players of the 20th century).

First, last and only three-time All-American LSU will ever have. That's at least worth a Heisman equivalent. Also, he played on the 1969 team, which is just as good as having played on a national championship team (to me).
