Will Trump use any of his own money to pay lawyers?

He is notorious for short paying bills. From what I have read he is having to prepay for his lawyers now. Like most people that have worked for him in the past, he can't get former lawyers to represent him.
If cult giving dries up will he reach into his own pocket to prepay lawyers?

How much will I (we) pay via tax paid money to continue to prosecute?
Donated money VS tax money.
How much has been spent to continue this w/state or Fed money?
Where’s that shocking total!

Why would he? All the accusations are entirely political, a result of him running for office.

I doubt that he will.
I also hear that paying with campaign funds is going to be a real problem for him.
Not sure who is giving him advice on this but he could be set up for a very big lawsuit on misuse of campaign funds

You envy Trump's bag. We get it.

Of course not, why do you think he’s even running?

Will this be a hundred million dollar defense?

Should sue the Feds for false prosecution and make only Dems repay the fees.

No. He will use tariffs on China to pay. It will be glorious.

No Mexico will pay his bills. It will be just like that big huge wall.

In the end, when he is found not guilty of all the BS he is being charged with, the prosecution should have to pay for all of his legal fees.
Who will pay for Hunter and Joe lawyers when their turn comes? Will they pay them out of the money get got from China, Russia, Ukraine? It will be interesting to see.

You do realize the lawyer problem stems from the fact that if they represent him then they get basically blackballed from big money going forward. There has been many lawyers that have spoken on this. A DC or NY firm will not end their their existence for a short time case. It’s been discussed that 60 million has been used in donations supposedly to pay lawyers fending off lawsuits, sounds pretty much like someone is getting paid

I’m not making any opinions on your post other than to point out that this is one of the three standard ways lawyers get paid. It’s called a retainer. This is of no significance.

I hope not. He is at war for Americans. Hopefully patriots support this war for him.

The Left accuses Trump’s side of being a cult, but the truth is that it’s the Left, not the Right, consumed by a fundamentalist ideology that mandates compliance.
They believe they have the right to persecute and prosecute Americans for their ideology. They don’t. They believe they have the right to decide who they should vote for American voters. They don’t. They believe they have the right to tell Trump what he can and can’t say, they don’t.
They believe we all must go along with the insanity they’re foisting upon us. We don’t.

Why should he, if he wasn't president, he wouldn't have these fees?
Posted on 8/3/23 at 10:05 am to I B Freeman
It only takes $1 donated to Trump's legal defense fund by every one who voted for him a simple and cheap payment option.

The thing of it is, if he weren't so damn toxic and cavalier, there are damn good attorneys that would represent someone in his situation for almost pro Bono.
There are a lot of attorneys that would take pennies on the dollar to take on the FEDs in a high profile case.
