Surprised Ballard is leaving because he made $535,000 on the most recent financials and the organization president took in $566,000. And that was in a year when the org lost $15 million.

Those guys are scumbags.

Read the 2022 Form 990 on their website, you don't need media to tell you how to think one way or another.

Nice narrative you have there. Now explain to us why the "org" had 15 million to lose to begin with. My guess is it's donations from people that might actually care. My guess is also that you don't. Enjoy sleeping in your crib while children die and get tortured, while you somehow think you're doing a solid for us all. Your financials post tells all. You only care about $$.

You got it backwards. I spend all day looking at companies' financials and it's bad enough when execs of a money burning for-profit company are pulling down those kinds of salaries but when it's happening at a charity...that's pathetic.

It's easy to hide behind very commendable goals but just because they say they are doing something and provide glossy promotional materials to that effect doesn't mean they are. And insiders paying themselves really big bucks is a huge red flag, especially at a non-profit. Would you do that?

Well, I believe it was the Rolling Stone that was way ahead of the curve on that whole Duke Lacrosse shite.

Hell, I believe anything they say.

So are you saying what they're reporting is wrong?

Because multiple posters have confirmed that's not correct and he has stepped down.

So you think Ballard is a fraud? Show it beyond the money. Good luck. Either you come off as a whistleblower for a fake operation or you come off as a blow-hard for a-holes looking to keep the kid-torture operation running smoothly. Choose wisely.

Fraud? No. I think he engages in puffery and has created a public character with a slightly fictionalized story to promote himself and make money.

Are we allowed to cite sources left of Glenn Beck?

Or will that mean the poster who does is "broken"?

THAT is a nice combination of a straw man and false choice.

Not arguing the veracity of a particular claim. I am just saying that it is a shitty source.

My bigger issue, though not stated, is that if true, why does matter?

His opinions are ideologically based. Progs are fricking freaked out over this movie..

The Fairy religion seems to have quite the hold on these soy bois.

The limited number of professional critics who have reviewed “Sound of Freedom” have had mixed reactions. Variety’s Owen Gleiberman found the film compelling and praised its authentic portrayal of an important issue. In contrast, Rolling Stone criticized the movie, associating it with QAnon beliefs.

An insufferable douche with nothing better to do than troll boards with his “I’m smarter than you attitude”.

If you were as smart as you try to make people think you are you’d have got in with Wiki and hit the crypto jackpot.

The more he talks, the less true this becomes.

He understands half of the equation, his raging autism fricks him though.
