I rarely eat ice cream, but if I had to choose it would be creole cream cheese. I miss the K&B version.

You do realize that most people on here don't even know what K&B was (except us old people). I remember when the K&B at Choctaw and Monterey flooded and it was never the same afterwards.

Since I worked at HD when growing up I was spoiled. Thankfully I’ve never eaten a lot of ice cream otherwise I’d be fatter than what I am, but HD made a cassis sorbet that was killer. In lieu of that their vanilla Swiss almond or coffee chip were very good, along with their strawberry.

Kudos for the K&B creole cream cheese memory. It was good and a nice treat in the summer. .

I’ve got to try tillamook.

Mississippi State makes ice cream and their muscadine ripple is really good

Bully’s Premium Ice Cream is dairy freshness encapsulated in your favorite flavor. We start with milk from the Bearden Dairy Research Center, add the freshest ingredients to produce 16 flavors of ice cream. The Custer Dairy Processing Plant produces 25,000 gallons of ice cream each year. Muscadine Ripple, a popular favorite, is produced with muscadine grapes grown and harvested at the South Mississippi Branch Experiment Station. It takes 150 gallons of muscadine juice to produce a year’s worth of Muscadine Ripple, one of the seven flavors sold by cup in the MAFES Sales Store. The store also offers half gallon and three gallon sizes in 11 flavors.

K&B did make some dang good ice cream, and you could wash it down with some YENDIS bourbon.

We still have K&B ice cream buckets being used for storage around the house. Chocolate swirl was good stuff.
