A friend, well more of a friend of a friend, married a woman with 2 young children.

She convinced him to adopt her children.
She then divorced him.

He was on the hook for child support for 15 years for kids that weren't even his.

Talk about a cautionary tale.

She probably went back to the original baby daddy and they had half their kids paid for with that stunt.

Husband and wife coworkers. Husband has an affair with another coworker, dumps his wife, marries the other chick. It makes for an uncomfortable work environment, so they connive to get the ex fired. I'm sure there are a lot worse examples, but this is so petty and crass. BTW the conventional wisdom is once a cheater always a cheater but they've been married about 20 years now.

Mine. Had I not lived it myself, I would think it was all made up.

It did allow me sole custody of my daughter.

Doesn't mean no cheating going on.

My uncle, in court..announced to the judge and court that whatever his divorce will cost him, his dick has gained back 3 inches just by having the ex out of the house.

Didn't work out well for him, as he knew it wouldn't..but the delivery was epic.

He bought her a new house I believe with his losses, he could afford it.. but was undoubtedly happier living on his own terms.

So he paid for 15 years of child support. That means the youngest kid was 3 when they got divorced. Dating, wedding, adoption, divorce takes time so that puts the youngest at or around 1 when they got together.

Your friend is an idiot if he dated and married a woman with a 2 kids and one of those was 1 (or younger). It should have been a huge red flag that she might not be stable.

Buddie's mom and dad got divorced shortly after we had graduated High School. The dad was forced to pay alimony for a set number of years since he outearned her but the real kick in the nuts was that before they had filed for divorce she emptied out his retirement account ($500k+) with her online "boyfriend" by gambling.

A friend told me a story about her married friend.

The married friend used to go jogging at a local high school track. She noticed another jogger (former NFL player) jogging too. Over time they struck up a conversation, then more conversation, and it led to an affair. They decided to tell their spouses and ask for a divorce. She did. He didn't. He ghosted her instead.

My BIL got wiped out in a divorce twice because he just wanted the pain to end.

The second one involved the bitch getting caught cheating and the cops preventing him from getting into his own house because they thought he’d kill her.

No kidding.

I should have clarified, he was on the hook for the youngest for 15 years.

The older kid was a few years older, so 12 or 13 years for that one.

Still a nightmare.

A happy ending.

Also deeply indicative of how men and women view sex.

The dude saw it as just another bang...the chick was fully expecting commitment.

One positive for the married friend is she got a very good gauge of how much she's worth monetarily.

Anywhere in the fetid biological chain that has given us OweO, someone should have pulled out or divorced early.

We are all witnesses to this horror.

Was this in Lafayette? If so I think I know who you're talking about.
