It really depends on how they cycle. I agree, the stigma they have is unwarranted these days. There's a whole lot more known now than in the past couple decades. However, the user also takes on a responsibility to do them as safe as possible. There are still many people who just don't.
I agree. One of the gyms I use is big into powerlifting and bodybuilding. I see a good bit of college aged kids clearly on the juice. I can’t imagine they have the monetary means it takes to get blood work done and everything it takes to be safe. A lot of these influencers start young, probably do a fair amount of damage before they start trying to be safe

I don't follow bodybuilding, but I do follow strongman. I see some bodybuilding stuff tangentially every now and then. Both of those groups are on a shite ton of gear. The main difference I've noticed between the two is that the strongman competitors seem a whole lot more committed to regular doctor's care. Maybe it is because of how injury prone their comps are, or how strenuous the events are, I don't know, but just from the outside I've noticed a lot of those guys take their "health" seriously enough. Health is in quotation marks because, well....it is all relative to the fact that they are living an unhealthy lifestyle to begin with.
In comparison it seems that a whole lot more of the bodybuilding community live a lot faster without as much oversight as other strength sport groups. Just my two cents.
thats some of it, but honestly a big difference is what some of these guys (namely Jo) do to stay so lean. He was known to do extreme things in order to keep his body fat low. The human body is not designed to run that lean for extended periods of time.

This guy was not a guy that safely did roids. He constantly was in a water depletion and extreme low body fat stage because his thing was his muscle striations. The strain he was putting on his body being so low on body fat and water is the worst thing he did

Lol water retention? What are you looking at? This is as much of a boomer post as I’ve ever seen. I’m surprised you didn’t mention how you used to bench 300+ back in the day.

He didn't compete until recently but was in "competition shape" for years. Was always dick skinned.

Anabolic steroids cause water retention which leads to high blood pressure. He obviously took something to counteract the retention but the blood pressure issue from the initial retention due to the steroids doesn't just magically disappear.

Juicing jokes aside, I actually did like the videos he put out. He had a good attitude and seemed like a friendly dude. Different than a lot of the douchey bodybuilder influencers.

What some top level, hell....any level, guys do for an edge can be downright frightening when you think about it.
I don't know if you know who Nathan Payton is, but he's a high dollar nutritionist. One of his big things is insulin manipulation. When it works, it works, but it is a real balancing act. Add in the fact that he and his team do this stuff with quite a few clients, and it has to be a lot to track. If you go to messing with body chemistry (which we still don't fully understand) like that you run the risks of complications and unintended consequences. That is abated if it is done along with a doctor's care, but not all of them have the funds for that.

To jump to vaccines for this guy is the flip side of the same coin that has a person wearing a mask at home alone
Terribly unwell.
Just like this guy was.

I'd guess Larry Wheels is next on clock. These type of dudes have to be shitting themselves knowing their time is soon.

Why? Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler as still alive?

He was on the more plates more dates podcast. All of those social media influencers in that steroid /bodybuilding genre are going to be dead.
They are dying younger and younger. Used to be you could juice like crazy and make it to around 42 before the many complications kicked in and killed you. Then, they stared dying at 40. Then 38. Then 35. Now, there are idiots having liver and kidney failure in mid to late 20’s. It’s insane. All for what? Attention on YouTube and Instagram? These people are mentally ill. It’s not worth it. I speak from experience. I got out before I died in my sleep. I had several friends that weren’t as lucky.

He and Flex Wheeler might as well be dead. Their quality of life is awful.

Imagine how depressing his life was. He spent 90% of it in a gym and now he’s dead at 30
