Do evil people exist in the Catholic Church today? Absolutely. Did Jesus sit down to break bread with a thief? A thief who betrayed Him? Absolutely. Once, I was meditating on the Last Supper. I imagined when Judas walked out of the Last Supper, Thomas nudged Peter and whispered - Huh, there goes the thief, I wonder what's he's up too? I was then I thought, that is not what happened at all, given Our Lord's sorrow over the loss of Judas. I'm thinking so great was Our Lord's suffering. maybe Thomas and Peter could not face his sorrowful glance. But I was speculating. I digress. My point in all this speculation? Our Ways are Not God's Ways.

The US's homicide rate is 6 per 100,000.
On literally every metric, the US is more violent than Sweden is.
