Nobody is arguing that it is cheap

Just saying that if you make 200 k a year, and owe 40 k……you should be set….and don’t need to be crying about it……which he did by the “I” posts

I will admit used car market kind of sucks for this age. How much did they save?

I was looking the other day and a cheap 8-10 year old economy car was like $14k.

Did you understand that you have to pay back a loan? Aren’t your parents at fault for allowing this to happen? Does the school beat any responsibility for using high tuition to limit enrollment? Did you finance Spring Break trips on your student loans? I don’t think I’m to blame for your poor choices.

You think people earning 70k can save 20k a year?

Yes. That's no different than asking, "Do you think people can live on. $45k/year?".

Yes, they can.

Not only that, but your payments on that $40k are going to about $250/month, if you pay over 20 years. You can probably save that much by making modest lifestyle changes.

What's shocking is that someone as stupid as you can bring in this much income. Mind boggling. Reading your posts, I wouldn't hire you to cook french fries.

The happiest baws I know are the blue collar baws and they all make 6 figures

The unhappiest baws I know are office guys with college degrees

"Went in dumb, came out dumb too" Randy Newman

... I'd post the other line, but don't want to get banned. :)

... speaking of dumb ... did you adjust for the time value of money?

... what was/is your degree? EDIT your post and put that in it.

Then why do you rely so much on the government?
What makes you think I rely on government? Link your proof.

The fact I accept LaHealthcare is simply because it’s offered. I would have insurance of some kind but CHOOSE to accept the offer based on understanding the terms of the government offer. I get no government money or other assistance either.

How? Saving, budgeting, doing without, and loving family who are able to help. God provides while government destroys.

Yep ... AND force any that receive public funds to offer three year degrees and eliminate the bs courses they force everybody to take to get that piece of paper.

And that’s one of the cheaper schools in Texas. Even if you found a job that pays 70k after school, with taxes, interest, etc you will be in poverty.

You had other options than college. Nobody forced you to go

Ok good point so stop taking my taxes for stuff I don’t use like funding your retirement security or paying for poor peoples well being.

I am not a leech.

I've been paying for my own retirement security for decades and I still pay more for that than I do my truck.

It's MY money.

The democrats are the people dumping the fund on poor people and now illegal immigrants.

You should educate yourself.
