Skenes wanted in. He said so. Glad Jay didn’t. The conversation is now about the team. As great as Skenes is and will be, this championship against Fla was about the LSUTeam. Skenes carrying Milazzo was pure gold. Jay created a great atmosphere for these ultra talented players.

This cannot be stated enough! Eerily similar to what Mulkey did with the WBB, bringing in top talent and commanding their respect enough to have the players truly buy into what it means to be a player on the team. Great players will still shine without having to try to.

Hard to say something nice about Univ of Florida. But, watch their press conference and their young men were first class. College baseball is full of outstanding young men!
