If Skenes pitches Thursday and we win

In that scenario, when would he be able to pitch again?

Cool, that would be awesome.

That’s a lot to ask of him to start but I could see him coming out of bullpen for the final 2-3 innings to close out the championship

If Skenes throws Thursday then that will be his last time in an LSU uniform

Floyd will pitch game 1. Win that one and Skenes will definitely want that game 3 start for the natty if necessary.

Depends on the bats and pitch count, he can throw 80 pitches and go Monday, not 125x

Nah, I would assume he’ll come back for a game 3 if needed on short rest. How long who knows. No way IF he’s feeling okay he’s on the bench in a winner take all.

Throw him Thursday, and then pray for a complete rain out in game one or two

I'd start Skenes tomorrow.

This is where starting on Friday is such a huge advantage!

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he threw <50 on Sunday if needed. If I’m not mistaken, they throw a bullpen on day 3 of rest.
If he starts Thursday and stays under 100, it might be possible he comes out of the pen Sunday. I don’t think he starts any game of the final series in that scenario, but whatever day is his bullpen day would likely be our best bet to get a few innings. Especially if it’s to close out the final 3/4 innings.

Game 3 if we get there.
I don’t think so. IF he pitches Thursday (which isn’t a given) then pitching again on Monday is only 3 full days of rest. It would be a bad business decision for him.
IF we get to see him Thursday we should enjoy what is most likely his last outing as a Tiger.
Now If Saturdays rain is enough to move finals game 1 to Sunday and the finals are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday we may see him Tuesday.

I would also start Skenes tomorrow. But limit him to about 75 pitches. Would give us 5 solid innings. That way he has time to rest for an appearance in Game 2 or 3.

He’d close out the championship game like Coleman did.

Then we pray for an act of God or Mother Nature to cancel games a few days

At that point, there are no “business” decisions and no tomorrows. It’s not like it’s short rest for a meaningless regular season game
Guarantee whatever MLB team drafts him thinks he’ll be their guy to win their World Series if needed on such rest

Really? What do you suppose a fatigue related arm injury does to his draft stock?
There is a HUGE business in what he does the next couple of weeks.
