Darius Miller used to live in the same neighborhood that we trick or treat in and we would see him out there.

Also randomly saw David Wesley at some bar in quarter

He comes into my restaurant here in BR on dates every now and then. Have a good time chatting with him, but don’t try to press him for info or anything.

Yeah, I asked about Jrue and his little girl. Figured he had enough AD questions at the time

I ran into Peja at the Zoo a few years ago. He is so much taller and skinnier than he looks on TV.

Also, Jrue brought his sister into the Jefferson SPCA to get a rescue dog at the same time I was picking up a kitten for my kids. He was a cool dude and his sister (who looks exactly like him) talked to me for a good fifteen minutes. His wife was there with her eyepatch as well (this was a year after her brain issue)

In April saw former pelican Mr. Graham at Desi Vega West end.

In the 2010s saw Alexis Ajinca at the airport dude and stood out as he towered over everyone.

I tired to recruit Russell Westbrook back when he won the MVP on a plane in Vegas. Told him to request a trade to the team, he laughed and said hell no

Did the same for Greg Monroe a few years back when he was walking around Bourbon Street by himself. He said he would love to but never did.

I served Byron Scott and his ex wife, Anita, popcorn at my job back in the day. She was a bitch though. Byron apologized to me and gave me $20 tip

Used to shoot the shite with David Wesley when my kid was on the country club swim team circuit. I guess his kid was doing the same.

Met Dell Demps at an AAU basketball tournament a long time ago.

Not too sure why he did this, but we got to talking and eventually he pretty heavily detailed a failed trade attempt to go up and draft Kris Dunn with the #3 pick.

This was years back, but I remember him saying the package to trade up to #3 with Boston would’ve been centered around Pick #6 and Jrue Holiday.

Jrue only had 1 year left on his deal at that point and had some injury issues. We ultimately extended him the next year for 5 yr 126 mil.

Dell was a nice guy and his son was a serious hooper, despite missing an arm.

So we have season tickets second row right next to the tunnel. I talk to the guys just about every game. Well mostly JV, BI, Griff, and Trajan. Tae was actually the first one to come talk to us and I still talk with him every now and again. They’re still just people, just really tall and good at basketball.

I saw Gerry Valliancourt a few times at the Barnes & Noble on Veterans.

Not as cool as Dan Dickau. Not even close.

But worth mentioning, right?

Like I said, there was always a girl with him so I'm thinking that played in his decision

Jonas lives right down the block from me in Metairie right between West Metairie and West Napoleon. He's like less than 5 minutes from the facility.

Got to attend a fundraiser at the Saks in Canal place when we were terrible and had like Dan Dickau but didn't really hang with anyone
