Ever snuck into a Hampton Inn or other hotel for free breakfast?

I was in D.C. recently and stayed at a Hampton Inn. Breakfast is from 6-10 AM and it was pretty busy the time I went down to the buffet area.
I got to thinking…how would they know if you just walked in a got a free meal? Obviously if you look homeless it wouldn’t work. Probably if you had casual work clothes on with with a laptop bag of some sort and came through the back.

I’ve never done this but I’ve often contemplated it. Seems very easy to do.

I sneak out without getting the breakfast. Could be the move.

Never just to eat, but I have met clients for breakfast meetings at their hotels and eaten the free breakfast. Most times it was when they had a flight out that day or were leaving after checking out.

I only sneak into hotels to poop on roadtrips.

Never purely for breakfast, but will use their restrooms on a road trip. The lobby bathrooms aren't used very often and way cleaner than a typical gas station. I just walk in like I'm staying there. If there's some food, I'll grab a muffin for the road.

I've done this over 20 times when picking up a boss or coworker who was staying at such a place. My favourite moment was I smoothly timed my entrance into a swanky Marriott lounge and had quality scrambled eggs, a boutique cappuccino, bacon and fruit while my boss was eating a shitty continental breakfast outside with the peasants. He was so blown away by my chutzpah when he saw me wrapping up my free meal, lads.

In Pensacola, there is a Hilton next door to a Hampton.
I usually stay at either for the Pensacola Beach brawl events. I’ll walk over to the Hampton if staying at the Hilton (since I would pass it) and catch breakfast there.
I don’t feel bad at all because Hilton owns HI&S..

No but being in outside sales it’s a great place to take a dump
So is Micheal’s Arts and Crafts because there’s not many dudes who shop there.

If you wear a white bathrobe and get your hair a little wet, you can do anything at a hotel that you’re not staying at.

Hampton's are more go to poop spot if I feel a 10-4 good buddy coming on.
Breakfast is better at Fairfield Inn

I have not eaten but when staying at a different hotel than others with work I might get a cup of coffee.
Will also stop at a hotel to shite if needed.

Back in the old days before free breakfast, there was a HJ on the corner of Hwy. 171 and I-10 in L.C. We would party and on the way home stop there. Our waitress one time ask are y'all here for the convention? I looked at my friend and say yes. We ask her what room do you think we are in? She says 1st or 2nd floor? We reply 2nd. Gives us a number on the second floor, we subtract 10 from it and charge it to that number, even the tip. Looks much easier now.

Easy to do. I was sitting in the breakfast area one time for a while preparing for a meeting when I wanted multiple people roll in who were clearly not guests. Some of them even knew the staff by name and were friendly with them. lol.

Course I view piracy the same way. Most people reconcile their morality differently though, as though they have some "right" to stolen media.

I know some very fat people that do this regularly

There is a decent holiday inn express in Santa Cruz I used to stay in when doing work there. The hippie front desk persons would turn a blind eye to the obvious vagrants smashing the breakfast bar. Didn't really bother me much.... until.... the afternoon I decided I try out the sauna and a couple naked homeless bums decided they wanted a steam as well
