If that is where the kids' reside that they had together and raised and she is the primary parent in their day-to-day, which I assume she is, this isn't easy.
Costner should probably, for the kids' sake, move into a nearby smaller place for a while until he can set her up with a nice house nearby that can fit their needs as a family.
Just my take as a man and father.

I had a friend who was like this. Very lowkey person.
No drugs, alcohol or gambling. Very humble but with an absolute compulsion for sex. He had at least 3 partners
(that I knew of) that he would wear out. He never married.
Costner on the other hand is a bonafide narcissist.

He definitely overestimates the level of his own talent … after Dances - which, granted, was a good film- but should NEVER have beaten Goodfellas for Best Picture- he felt like he could do any project and make it great… that’s how we wound up with Waterworld and The Postman.. ive never seen either, and im sure in a vaccuum they are not terrible films (though maybe they are)- but they were bloated very expensive failures at the time .
