What classified documents do YOU think should be ok for a former ...

President, Vice President, Senator, or Secretary of State to take with them after they leave office?

Whatever they want. What difference would it make
Posted on 6/10/23 at 11:08 am to Marcus Aurelius
We need to see them to make that determination.

Classified? None.
But only one person on your list has the ability to declassify those documents on their own accord.
Guess which one?

Can a President really take classified documents? Wouldn’t it declassify immediately once they put it in a situation it would have had to be declassified?

Ronbots on team DOJ all of a sudden. Pathetic.

This would be a much more legitimate question if we hadn’t lived through the last 23 years. You are free to pretend you have learned nothing from 2000 on. I will not join you in your idiocy.

Another DickSantis supporter going after Trump.

I don’t care. Nobody cared about this ever.
Think about why you suddenly do.

The authority to declassify is the Presidents alone, it's the law. Trump as President, declassified these papers pertaining to the Russia hoax.

Unfortunately politicians dont get the same rigor of clearance checks that the people who produce those documents do.

So, are you saying that highly classified documents that the President has declassified ... you would be ok with that... with no criteria? In other words, no difference between a document the President declassified on his own about nuclear weapons and blowing up China would be no difference than one that was 75 years old and had no longer had any national security repercussions that the National Archives agreed was ok to have?

“Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime”. Every Conservative (Constitutional Principle via God-given Rights) is guilty of a ‘crime’ if we question their Global *Democratic* Authoritarian Governance. It’s herding cats that is here for the calamitous duration. Just a matter of whether they impose it by monetary system coercion or like with Trump, criminal prosecution. Like the Michael Douglas character in “Falling Down”, they believe they are the good guys. Lord will judge. Pretty soon. IMO.

What I’m saying is that legally, he could do so. I’m correct. You are deflecting (via allegations that may be false no less).

See you couldn't answer a basic question.
... I'll answer it ... without signing off by the National Archives, or appropriate department ... NONE... whether that person declassified them or not. They don't belong to them... they belong to us. The arrogance to think they deserve them.

Trump knows if aliens exist, it’s dumb asf to charge the guy for any doc he’s worked with unless they fall into enemy hands
Posted on 6/10/23 at 11:17 am to Marcus Aurelius
All of them. It’s not like our enemies don’t already have them.

Everything they memorize.
