Good place to buy quality leather dress belts that aren't outrageously $$ - ideas?

I looked at Martin Dingman, love their quality shoes, but $200 for a belt seems high when I need 3. I need two shades of brown and black (all my belts are old and worn and need a refresh).

Fossil has some decent ones not too pricey.

Belts I’ve purchased from target lasted longer than expensive ones I’ve had from Dillard’s

Dillards?
I went there and they had a crappy selection in my size and I hate ordering leather online, pictures never accurate and I need to match some shoes pretty perfectly if I can. (Black obviously easy)

Tecovas has pretty decent quality ones for $75-90.

Narragansett Leathers

We have made these same belts for over 50 years. Each belt is hand cut with a draw gauge from 8-10 oz domestically tanned "English bridle" leather bends, which make for extremely durable strapping. This leather is actually tanned and finished for the horse bridle industry. This vegetable tanned leather is quite expensive, but worth the difference. Each strap is worked through 7 steps before it's attached to a solid brass buckle using solid brass rivets. Color choice is dark brown, medium brown, burgundy, chestnut, and black. Because dye batches from the tannery will vary and because computer screens vary, we do not recommend dependence on these photos for matching color. Custom belts for any buckle you may have is our specialty. Snaps or Chicago screw rivets available on request.

You just about can't buy a decent, real leather belt off the rack anymore. Most are a fabric backing, a super thin cowhide front, and have particle leather (ground up scrap leather mixed together with glue and pressed into sheets) core sandwiched between the two. They paint the edges with really thick edge paint to hide their sins. That core immediately starts cracking and breaking the first time you buckle the belt. They get away with the "genuine leather" claim by having the thin layer on the front. This isn't just cheap belts, either.
All that said, I got tired of shite quality belts, and like you I didn't want to pay an outrageous price for a "good" one. So, I made my own. It helped that I already do leather work and have the tools and supplies. It did show me how ridiculous the markup is on most of the "good" belts, though. I will never buy another factory made belt if I have a say in it.

You should be buying your belts at point of purchase of your dress shoes to ensure the leathers match.

Allen Edmonds is having their Father's Day sale. I've got several of their belts and seem as good as any other I have. Definitely better quality than what I've ever gotten in a department store. Can get belts for ~$90-$100
