Almost guaranteed they were on their phone liking pics of something or commenting on a post. That's some real Smokey and the Bandit stuff there.
Real talk: This is how most I-10 drivers operate these days. Folks have no concept of following distance (wtf is the two second rule anyway???) or passing on the left. It is awful these days. I would estimate 80pct of drivers are on their phone and 10 pct are irate and trying to get around them any way possible. It's a bad mix.

My guess is that she got in the left lane to take a picture of the accident on the other side, didn’t realize the tow truck was sticking out in the lane a little then panicked. With the volume up, can hear some braking just before she hits the ramp.
Also, the tow truck had one of those metal stoppers at the top too…plowed through it and still flew 120 feet. Got Dayum
