I’m honestly annoyed people don’t hate on DeNiro in The Irishman. That’s an embarrassing role to me. An old as frick dude who’s way to old and has to be de-aged and given blue eyes because he and Marty are frickbuddies. He should be embarrassed when he watches his geriatric self attempt to stomp on someone.

Jack Lemmon as Marcellus in Hamlet (1996).

Yeah that casting was distractingly bad. The actor had no physicality, he was a noodle armed twerp who was supposed to be a womanizing badass.

Ben Affleck - any movie as Batman
Man I like him in this role. Batfleck was the only Batman who looked like he could really fight.

Scarlet Johansson - The Avengers

Diaz got a Golden Globe nomination for Gangs.. she wasn't that bad in it
It's not that she was a horrible actor, but going against all the heavy hitters in that movie made her look like she was doing a kindergarten Christmas play in comparison. I remember reading that Sarah Michelle Gellar was seriously considered and prime SMG with an Irish accent would have been fun

Christian Bale didn't look like he could fight?

My wife always complains about the casting of Peeta(sp) in hunger games? I guess compared to the books.

Just a personal preference on Affleck. I think he's overrated with a few really good performances. Johansson's character WAS boring and I don't see anything about her that yells action movie star. There are numerous athletic actresses who'd be better. Just an opinion.

A few come to mind.
John Wayne playing the Mongol warrior Genghis Khan in "The Conqueror".
Keanu Reeves playing an Englishman in "Dracula".
Warner Oland, of Swedish descent playing the Asian detective "Charlie Chan".

That was the whole point!
He was a soldier, not a cuck.
Funny how he easily slides into the main man mafia life.
His Dad didn't want it for him, he didn't transform... Never bought the narrative that he would marry Kay when his true colors quickly showed the women he's into...Apollonia...
The point is Kay doesn't work in trying to make that Michael was SO different before point. He RUNS from Kay...he doesn't even like her...who does like Diane Keaton?
It's absurd he would choose her based on what we know about him.

Casting a child as Anakin instead of a teenager without changing the script
Nah, Star Wars was totally meant to be about Natalie Portman’s struggle with pedophilia, set amongst a galactic order of inept Jedi.

5 inches taller than Bale and yes, looks like he could kick some arse.
I do like the Nolan Trilogy with Bale, just sayin if you had to pick which would be more of a believable badass, you'd have to go Ben imo

Glen Campbell was an odd choice in True Grit. But having to share the screen with the American cinema icon didn't help.
Are you kidding? He was just about perfect in the role of LeBouf - his awkwardness as an actor translated perfectly to his role of a typical Texas waddie.

Maybe not the worst but pretty bad:
Sean Penn as Willie Stark in All the Kings Men.
“Hmm, who should I cast in this classic story based on the life of Huey Long? He’s got to have instant likability and be a fantastic orator. A real populist leader!
How about Sean Penn!”
