This is how laws should work. They should be extremely narrow in scope. Not broad and ambiguous.

EPA's original mission is largely complete, but they are trying to find new ways to keep their jobs and grow the bureaucracy even if it is deadly to the economy. Such is the nature of a government bureaucracy.

great news, but there is way too much shitposting going on for anything like this to stay on first page more than 5 minutes
less power given to government over our lives is always a good thing

The fact that this took 14 years to be resolved is obscene.
9-0. Unreal.
9-0. Unreal.

This is continuing a very good trend when it comes to the bureaucratic state, but I'm stunned that it was 9-0. I wouldn't think most justices would be subject to a "I want to be on the winning side" mentality, but for the ultra-libs this is a shock.

So wetland mitigation will now be severely limited? If so that’s a good thing.

The (MSM) articles I’ve seen thus far say the ruling was 5-4, only because there were different opinions in arriving at the 9-0 ruling. Our media are lying, divisive scum.
Enemy of the people.
Enemy of the people.

Its 9-0, but there were varying concurring opinions.

I believe I made that observation in my post. Thanks.

The EPA and Army Corps of Engineers will simply ignore this like they did in West Virginia

These rulings make it hard to understand why some of the major electric producers in the U.S. have not fought the EPA harder on emissions and effluent rules.
Those rules are forcing hundreds of fossil fuel plants to permanently close, costing billions of stranded investment dollars which hurt the companies and their employees but also hurt the customers when the power companies pass the cost of those closing down to the customers.
The EPA has cost customers and companies billions of dollars, while abandoning some of America’s largest fuel reserves, weakened the nation’s power grid, shut down efficient, reliable power supplies and compromised America’s national security. They are a made up, appointed entity that was not elected to serve the people and have be given their authority by politicians and they abuse that authority every day.

the rulling on this case was 9-0, but the 3 liberal justaces and Kav wrote a seperate opinion stating they agree the case more narrowly applied then the 5 majority justices' opinion.
The libs + Kav wanted to limit the impact of the ruling, where the other 5 replied with a much broader pen stroke.

Executive Order will fix this. Biden Regime will ignore the decision and do what it wants. The USSC is useless.
