That's backwards of how you should do it, recirculate pulls the hot air out and cools the cab down faster. The air will actually get colder though if you turn recirc off after it cools down.

5 minutes tops,
im not talking just the front seats and the air, the roof, the floors, the rear seats and the doors, all that has stored heat inside of them, and takes time to cool off

Yes if you have a "max A/C" button it turns recirc on
Recirc off is the default

But I just go by the principle of hot air rises, it moves more and has more energy. It will be the first air to escape. Turn the A/C on for a second, then open the windows to quickly vent out all the hot air and let it be replaced with the cool air.

One of the best purchases I have ever made in my life has been the “Heatshield” sun shade that not only perfectly fits the front windshield but also has custom fit shades for my side door windows.

When it’s 98 degrees outside, I get in and the car has low 80 degree temps inside. I’ve had them for 8 years now and it continues to remind me what a great purchase I made.

For my truck, the summer procedure is...

- unlock
- open rear drivers side door
- open driver door
- reach in and turn the truck on
- turn the AC on
- roll down the rear window
- close rear drivers side door
- get in and drive
- then roll up the rear window

Takes 5 minutes tops to turn a black Tundra into a cool truck on a hot day.

Yes and so does my boyfriend.

It’s funny because I’m a guy and it implies I’m gay. But I am not.

Nope. Remote start your car. It's 2023 not 1923.

Well yeah. I don’t think it’s a secret that rolling down the windows to let the hot air out allows the cabin to cool off quicker.

An air conditioner can only cool off the intake air about 20-25 degrees. So if it’s 95 degrees in your vehicle, the A/C will only be putting out about 70-75 degree air from your vents initially. As the intake air temp drops, it’ll continue to blow colder and colder air.

REAL men don't use A/C, and we ride around with the windows rolled up smoking Marlboro 100s and WT 101 straight from the bottle.

Yeah. Don’t turn on MAX for about 5 minutes while windows are rolled down.

Yes. The inside goes down 20 degrees almost immediately.
