I turn the ac on high and roll the year window down in my Tundra. Blow all that hot arse air out.

I just realized that my Jeep's AC is not working. A sudden storm came up on us so I put the top on. I turned the AC on and it never got cold. I wonder how long it has been out

For my minivan, last summer in TX I had to start doing something similar. I open both rear van doors, passenger and driver doors, then close the van doors, then slam the passenger door so it pushes the rest of the hot air out the drivers door, then climb in, roll down all the windows as I'm driving down my street, then roll them up and crank the AC on recirculate. This system works really well.

I just open the two doors on the drivers side, but the air exchange is quick and it hardly takes any more time that it does getting in the truck in the winter.

Yes. In extreme heat blast ac and open windows to clear system for about a minute then close windows.

I had my alternator shite the bed last week, it was terrible driving around town with just the windows rolled down. I was waiting for a free day this week to get a mechanic to change it.

But I had a chance on Sunday to fulfill my manly duties and changed that fricker myself. I still have the scratches and grease under my fingernails to prove it. 2 screws holding that bitch in, but you have to make clear path to squeeze it out.

As soon as I was done, I ran the engine with the AC on full blast. It was like an igloo in about 5 minutes.

Or buy the window guards and keep the windows cracked, but no doubt.

That’s just code for too poor to have a car with ac.

The air will actually get colder though if you turn recirc off after it cools down."

False . Air produced on "Max" is 15-20 cooler than air produced on "Norm" position.
