I am confused why he is so angry and surprised because he stated as fact over 1 year ago that Ron told him he would not even think about running. Interestingly enough he has never provided any evidence of that.

I specifically remember all of this.
It was said that if he did decide to run that it would prove he was GOPE anti MAGA and a liar because he “promised Trump not to run” and the only source of this promise was rich baris.
I said at the time it was Trump poisoning the well to get out ahead of it and I have to admit he succeeded

What I'm not liking about DeSantis, other than him not being in Florida and doing the job that I voted for him to do - is that he looks like he's starting to pander.
There's a pic on twitter in one of the replies where he's pretending to dress like a farm boy or something in jeans that are too tight and boots too nice to ever wear in the field, but it's just a pandering look for middle America.
Dress how you dress and be who you are and don't pander. That sends a message that you will play whatever role for whatever audience and that makes me a bit uneasy.
I don't like or trust Trump, but I don't see him playing dress-up out there. It's his authentic self that I don't trust. That's not good, but it does count for something.
One of the most unnatural looking 'man in jeans and boots' pics I've ever seen.

Like stout pointed out earlier in the week, his suits don't fit with the lost weight. I think he looks OK in casual stuff and the outfit is fine, except for the boots.

I don’t know if he’s pandering or not, but he grew up in a blue collar family in central Florida. Jeans and boots are pretty standard fare north of Miami.
