Not a slight to anyone on team, but where is this team ranked with a rotation of Floyd, Hurd, and Money/Little? He’s clearly a generational type talent.

Top 15? Top 25?

Who cares.

We are ranked #2 with Skenes. Enjoy the ride.

Not hyperbole, it's entirely possible, if not probable, LSU would have 3 total losses (or less) if those three players were available all year.

Where is any team without their ace or top 3 hitters? Obviously, A poverty level team.

About the same as last year. Top 20-25 team, but lacking to bea threat to win it all.

Exactly. It’s ridiculous when people totally ignore the injuries we’ve had. For this team to be where they are speaks to the talent and depth of this squad.

It's not that much of a difference. It's still arguably the top offense in the nation with a lot of hit or miss pitchers. It's really only 7 games in question if you assume they would've won the 4 nonconference games regardless. Plus they lost his Arkansas and South Carolina starts anyway.

Personally, I think they still take 2 of 3 at A&M, 2 of 3 vs. Kentucky, 1 of 3 at Auburn, and beat Mississippi State.

I'm willing to say they lose the Tennessee series, don't sweep Ole Miss, and don't sweep Alabama. So maybe 36-13, 14-10 instead of 39-10, 17-7. Which they would still be top 10 and in very good position for a top 8 seed.

I think what really changes is the postseason outlook, moreso than the regular season record and ranking. Having him for the marble games/1 out of 3 in a series makes us the favorite to win it all. Without him, we aren't the favorite for sure and it would be nearly impossible to piece together that much pitching. Of course, we could still lose with him and we could still win without him. You never know. It just increases the chances greatly.

I meant the ranking isn't that much of a difference. It's 2 versus top 10. This is still a top 10 without Skenes. Saying top 25 is too low.

That’s not a hot take at all, if Taylor doesn’t get hurt, we have the best weekend rotation in college, from what everyone was saying his stuff was elite during the scrimmages

In this scenario do the same injuries happen?

Our bullpen at the start of the season was looking like a strength the injuries are really having an impact and we are still having an amazing season.

When almost 1/2 our wins are 10 run rule wins even average pitching could win a lot of games.
