Just in case you thought things couldn’t get any better for Hurts, they did on Friday evening. He graduated from Oklahoma with his Master’s degree in Human Relations on Friday.
Check out the video below as he receives a standing ovation from the crowd.

It's really hard to not like the dude.

Sooner great. OU has a long history of plucking high school players out of Texas and developing them into NFL starters.

You knew he had great character when he patiently waited behind Tua after he was benched. His SEC title redemption story is great. I hate Bama, but Jalen is a classy guy.

Thing is, with his NFL salary he had no need to do this yet he did. Thats a champion right there, he still finished and got his Masters. Really awesome to see and a great example to set for others. I mean, he played in Super Bowl this year and got a new $240m contract. Yet came back to finish.
One of the few things we can all agree on is his staying power to overcome anything and leadership. In a world full of chaos he stands tall in doing things right.

I was very wrong about him as an NFL player, as a lot were
He has worked hard and improved at every level
Leader on and off the field and stays out of the news
He is someone kids should look up to, not Kaepernick or Kyler Murray

Will always be my favorite bama player. Class act. Kid deserves everything he's taken.

That is really awesome. Especially attending the ceremony. Burrow did this when he got his Masters at LSU a few weeks before the CFP. I thought that was pretty cool at the time, but an NFL player flying across the country to attend is another level.

Wtf did Kyler Murray do?

What do you have a Masters degree in? Trolling?

As much as you want to dislike hurts since he was an alabama qb it’s hard to root against him. Seems like a classy guy and when he sat behind tua and proved he was a team player that showed his character. He’s proved lots of people wrong at the pro level as well.

Nothing. That’s the point. Dude hasn’t worked on his craft since he entered the league.

Gonna go out on a limb here and wonder if a B.A. would've sufficed.
If you Google Master's degree in Human Relations it appears only OU offers this.
Human Relations degrees prepares graduates for careers focusing on resolution of human relations problems.

He’s a 2x pro bowler with a bad organization. But sure.
To compare him with Kaep is a bit unfair.

Does he have a bachelors of science in communications as well?

What are you talking about?
I work in HR. I hired someone yesterday with a masters in HR to manage a department. She didn't go to OU. There are 100s of school that offer a similar program.
When I was looking at graduate programs I thought about getting that masters. To be fair, most people in the field do an MBA instead. But it's still a great achievement for him..
