It’s good for what it is. If you went to the one on airline in BR then check out the little food truck right by the pawn shop near there. Their chicken is really good.

It's not bad for a 'fast food' place and the prices aren't ridiculous. We pick it up when pressed for time.

Do yourself a favor and skip el pollo loco and go to the mexican place in the shopping center behind it with the donut shop. Get the 4 tacos and dip that shite in the broth. You'll thank me later...

Chivo Los Compadres…..?

Yes. It’s absolutely great. But it’s not behind Pollo Loco?

Well its like 50 yards away. And if you are standing to the front left of El Pollo Loco you can logistically say that Chivo Los Compadres is behind it.

Edit: @Bubbz, yes that place is fantastic. Its the quesabirria taco special with 4 tacos and the consume to dip (or drink). Only downside is that they close at like 5 or 6pm on the days they are open unfortunately.

That’s fair. Go to the Birria place fairly often. I split the 4 taco special with a lady friend. I ate the whole thing once and had to go home for the rest of the day.

Never been that extra 50 yards to the chicken place.

Yeah they deep fry the tortillas for the birria special and its salty in the best of ways. Definitely will throw the rest of your day off.

The 50 yard away place is good, but keep in mind that it is a chain. Prices are fair and its a notch above fast food for sure.

Do the menu pictures look anything like what someone would get in real life?

They're both pretty mediocre, but its like the mediocre cajun places in Dallas, I'm happy to have them.

Asadero Pollo Rico. It’s in the Xotic Pawn shop parking lot. I can’t find a menu online for them unfortunately.

Their tripe is amazing.

My really close Hispanic friend laughs every time we go there because apparently the business name doesn’t make sense. It’s basically “A Friend of Goats.” Doesn’t matter though the foods great.
