The circumstances of the case leave little doubt Coach Bruce was set up. The difficult part will be proving it. Gonna require someone getting pressure applied and cracking.

Just thought that was interesting to note.

I finished it. Was well done. Not a good look for multiple Covington locals. There were certainly no punches pulled.

sorry not sorry for my cold heartedness here, but i don't really give a shite about why someone was murdered at a New Orleans East apartment complex.

Why would a person who seemingly was well off, conduct business at a New Orleans East apartment complex?
Oh so you've got some property for sale in Lafayette, cool, lets meet at the Mark VII apartments and see if i can be one of the annual murder victims for this neighborhood, a neighborhood who has someone murdered in it every single year.

Why was he in New Orleans East? that's the question. Not why was he murdered.

I'm on episode 9, it's a well done podcast Had to check out the Margaret Coon podcast on another channel first because of some rando post here a week or two ago. Her case certainly exposed some of the corruption in St. Tammany in the day, but in the end, all fingers pointed to the militant lesbian neighbor.

There is more to the Cucchira story for sure though-lots of layers to it, also inconsistencies. I can't blame the family for digging further and hope the podcast exposure helps and something surfaces but based on the past responses to reward offers on it's not looking too promising.

St Tammany has a very dark underside. A lot of dirty shite. Pedo rings, unsolved murders, DAs covering up crimes. Prostitution rings . Payoffs to meth dealers. Nanette Krentel. Find out who Riecke was beholden to.

Cucchiara was President of Resource Bank? Right?

Was there anyone associated with the bank that came up?

Just finished the whole podcast.

A few things

Riecke is a peice of excrement. The podcast mentions a 660k promissory note just about 2 weeks before Cucchiara's death. She talks about it but it is sort of dropped.

Also Cucchiara was talking to that guy from Biloxi. How much was he investigated? Were there any connections through him to Mike Gillich...also of Biloxi. This almost sounds like a Dixie Mafia job.

While Riecke is scum and probably involved, I think the Biloxi connection should be looked at.

Also Riecke is a big money guy for JBE...probably why none of this sticks or ends up being dropped.

I just started listening and a name caught my ear, Brett Oubre. Turns out it's the same Brett Oubre who owns some used car dealerships in Vidalia CenLa area.

I always thought that dude was shady from what his ex gf would tell me(we're Eskimo Bros ) and now his name pops up in this
Podcast. Can't be a coincidence.

I looked it up and yes, he did.

I also looked up his name and Brett Oubre's name, and they're both on the board of directors for American Bank in Covington. Mr. Oubre is also a motiviational speaker and sports the same spikey/receding hairline hairstyle as Mr. Riecke. I bet they also wear matching white Oakleys.

Riecke is indeed a JBE financial supporter, which should explain how he got his position on the Louisiana State Police Commission. And should also help to explain why law enforcement has not bothered to really take a close look at him regarding this case.

I think Delia did try and establish a link between Riecke and the guy in Biloxi, but she was unable to find anything concrete.

While unrelated, I Googled Riecke and found this article. Just a little slice of the incestuous conflict ridden rats nest that is St Tammany. Mind boggling.

Like I said, very curious . He's working on a deal with this guy and others. He's talking to the guy before he gets killed at a peice of property that's worth more plowed under and left vacant ....it stinks of a set up. Then you have some lone black guy just walk up shoot Cucchiara take his phone and his wallet but never uses the credit cards....maybe takes a cheaper Rolex?

I mean generally in Black neighborhoods, the criminals stay away from messing with non criminal white people...they don't want the heat that comes along with it from the cops . Interesting that 10 -11 years later there is no apparent reason why he was there. No trail of a business deal like real estate. No paper trail, he wasn't using drugs or buying them.

There are similarities to the Murdaugh financial crimes in South Carolina. Plenty of money being borrowed, spent, and gained amongst people in both private and public sectors in southern small towns. Lots of high-risk high-reward behavior.

I've heard stories of St. Tammany Parish councilmembers who make land grabs based on inside information they hear regarding areas slated for future public/private developments. They buy it on the cheap and then sell later when the development picks up. People that get into politics to only enrich themselves financially while they're in office are truly disgusting.

I was surprised that Kevin Davis agreed to talk to Delia. I think he wanted to control his narrative and get ahead of having his name tossed into the story with Riecke. It was probably a smart move on his part. There's plenty to learn about Kevin, his relationship with the Torres family, and his wife and father-in-law's criminal pasts.

Are we not going to talk about this part?

“Cucchiara, who previously served as President of Resource Bank in Mandeville, had been prohibited by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) from participation in banking in July 2005.”

Didn’t seem to be so squeaky clean himself.

I mean the just a “simple little league Coach volunteer” sounds nice and such but….

...problem was, he could not adequately play with the big boys. He gets nailed they profit. Resource connection was my first thought.

St Tammany has a lot of money rolling around and they all have the old connections. Reicke, Wynn, Blossman, Strain...DuBuisson in Slidell just to name a few. Ask yourself why Patrick McMath spent close to 1 million dollars for state Senate seat against fellow Republican Reid Falconer....both in the land development/ construction business....oh, and let's not forget the Warners (Parish Concrete ) and Goodyear (Money Hill). Politicians like Walter Reed and Mike Cooper do their bidding. Randy Smith certainly does. Only one on the outside is Warren Montgomery....and Vincent Wynn is gunning for his job.

You don't get into any meaningful positions without the families I just mentioned in St Tammany.
