That is the problem the democrats are doing nothing for the black community they are keeping the majority below the poverty line and blaming white people.

Some people have late birthdays or early depending on how you look at it, and actually start college before their 18th birthday. Very possible He has an August birthday and started with enough credits to be a sophomore by spring semester. Graduate in December the year he turned 20, and not had his 24th birthday yet. Not common, but not super uncommon either.

Where does he say that? He says he graduated in 2020 and it is now 2023. He could be a December graduate. He could turn 24 tomorrow. The year is not yet over.

My point is black people have voted blue in majority for the last 50+ years and we are still at the bottom of everything. Wouldn’t common sense say try voting a different way

I don’t think it’s just the black community, but with regards to the black community, I think the political pressure really comes from the pulpit.

The democrats have done a remarkable job of capitalizing and controlling the black community through the church.

It is infuriating. I have a few black friends, educated, Christian, and from the outside looking in, they seem to be conservative in many, many ways. Still vote Democrat. I have tried to figure out why, and it really just seems like they or people around them follow legacy media, and they fall for it hook, line, and sinker. They don't even realize they're voting against themselves.

It's not the voting patterns, they just make poor decisions or are just not very bright.

Remember when the legacy media clutched their pearls when Barkley said he would like to see black people be able to vote republican?

It isn't a "chokehold." The Democratic Party will openly back black candidates and address issues deemed important by the black community. While the democratic Party is no by any means perfect, it is at least inviting. That at least brings members of the black community into party politics in a meaningful way.
