Sounds about right. You are not looking as good as you think with this stance. As others have said...if you have to hide it from parents, it ain't a good thing.
No matter what your pedo in chief Biden says...kids are not in a collective, they belong to their parents first and foremost. As my dad would tell me..."Son, I whip your arse, cause you represent me"

I call my students what they want to be called unless it interferes with the learning environment. I will continue to do so. Sue me.
If you have a student born of one sex, but identifies as the other sex and demands to be called those pronouns, and you also have another student who refuses to lie and call them by their fake pronouns, which student do you side with to eliminate the interference with the learning environment?

I don’t think anything should be hidden from parents.
I do believe many parents have their heads in the sand, though.
If a parent learns a kid is gay or confused from a teacher… the parent has already failed.

99% of students would call the student by their chosen name.
This stuff is no big deal to these kids. Like it or not.

It’s funny how “groomer” has become the new insult word. Disagree with someone? Call them a groomer! 8 pages of… instead of discussing the issue…. Calling me a “groomer!!!”
You seem to genuinely be a groomer, and if not, you are very vocal ally for groomers. The bill is anti-groomer/pedo. legislation. Its opponents are pro groomer/pedo. If you don’t want to be called a groomer p, then stop acting like one or advocating for them.
Quick question for you:
Any doctor who permanently mutilates and/or sterilizes minors should be sent to prison for life. Do you agree or disagree? If you disagree, what penalty should be handed out to the butcher, er doctor: death penalty, torture until death, a slap on wrist, none at all?

But y'all... they are gonna make sure that a teacher calls Little Johnny by the name Little Johnny, even if he/she wants to be called Little Jane! And if a kid thinks he or she is sexually confused... well, ain't no school employees or trusted teachers or cousnelors going to be able to listen to them about it... they are on their own!
Seems reasonable.

That’s not what he asked. He specifically asked about pronouns, which are strangely of infinite importance to you groomer freakshows.
You saying 99% of students call a boy she/her or a girl he/him is probably the most stupid thing you’ve said in this thread, which is saying a lot.
Now to top it off, why don’t you retell everyone how you support the civil rights act, ada, title 9, etc as a small government conservative.

I have no issues with this. Agree with it. But it’s a shame they don’t “pass legislation” to improve education in this state. Even our private schools here are far behind other states. Discovered that when friends landed in Texas after Katrina. Or when my daughter entered LSU. So many students from Texas and other states had credits for basic college courses via high school that were never mentioned or offer here in HS and she attended one of the best. It’s been a few years now since she’s graduated, so maybe things have changed. But our education system is a joke.

quote:What makes you think that an issue thats come up in multiple states in the past few months won’t keep spreading into more states and make its way into LA? For once our state is being proactive on something. That doesn’t mean there’s not other issues to be dealt with too, but this particular one is an easy one to address.
So it’s cool for the legislature to deal with something that’s not actually happening here, while ignoring the actual problems in this state??

This fixes an issue. Its more than "feel-good legislation"

I already posted you an example of a 4th grade teacher doing it here. Why do you ignore it? Because it doesn't fit your argument is why.

The only thing I'm advocating for is for teachers to not get in trouble if a girl wants to be called a boys name. The only thing I'm advocating for is for teachers to be able to provide a listening ear to confused students.
I think any kid who thinks they are something other than they are, is confused and needs help.
Now... do some people I don't like also agree with that stance? Yes. Are some of them using that for bad reasons? Yes. Does that make me change my stance? No.
I don't give AF who agrees or disagrees with my stance.
I didn't see anything in the bill that prevents teachers from talking to parents about their kids. If I missed that... then that needs to be removed from this bill.

What about circumcision? Generally I think a child should be able to give legal consent for gender reassignment, and by law, a child can't give consent. But... we legally allow parents to circumcize their child without the kids permission... so I would not want a bill that sends mutiliation docs to jail for life to catch docs who circumsize.
