When people say that rape jokes are not funny, I point them to Blazing Saddles and Norm MacDonald.

About three years ago this was streaming on Netflix. I sat my son, who was 17 at the time, down to watch it. I told him this was a movie he needed to see at least once in his life, and he needed to see it before it went the way of "The Song of the South." He LOVED it and couldn't believe there was a time when something like it could have been made.

How about some beans?
I’d say you’ve had enough
That’s my all time favorite.

Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein came out in the same year. He’ll of a year for Brooks and Wilder.

I watched it recently - I forgot how goood the first two acts are and how the third is so bad - it should have stayed a western and not devolved into the movie set battle etc IMHO

I watched Blazing Saddles 100 times before I realized that Richard Pryor was one of the writers.
