The young lady definitely threw the first "punch." Teach blocked it like a pro and got in a couple good blows before it went to hair and they all fell down.

More teachers need to do this. These kids are nothing but bullies and will continue to act that way because their parents, or lack thereof, engrained that kind of behavior in them. Sock them in the mouth and set them straight.

Re-watched the video.
I argue that the teacher threw zero punches.
First move was the block.
Then arm movements to create separation for safety.
Finally then inward move for the takedown to neutralize the threat.
