Gateway Pundit

In 2019 during a Democratic primary debate Joe Biden claimed “smart guns” are the solution to ending gun violence.

Biden was quoted saying “No gun should be able to be sold unless your biometric measure could pull that trigger.”

On Biden’s campaign site it’s written he will “Put America on the path to ensuring that 100% of firearms sold in America are smart guns.”

Now Biden’s push for smart guns is even starting to be pushed by conservative leaning news outlet Fox News.

Fox News recently released an article praising the Biofire smart gun, which is a new smart gun coming to the market in 2024.

The major problems with smart guns is they are easily hacked.

A hacker who goes by the name Plore, previously hacked into the German manufactured Armatix IP1 smart gun by placing $15 magnets near the barrel of the gun.

Per Fox News:

The Biofire smart gun is expected to hit the market in 2024.? Some believe that when it does, it could significantly help curb the gun crisis we’re facing in this country. One of the main advantages of Biofire’s smart guns is that they can dramatically reduce accidental shootings at home.? Last year, the New England Journal of Medicine report revealed that firearm-related accidents, homicides and suicides are the primary cause of death for children and teenagers in the U.S.

In addition, smart guns can also help reduce gun theft. Traditional guns can be stolen and easily sold on the black market, contributing to crime and gun violence. However, smart guns that require biometric or electronic authentication are much harder to steal and use illegally by criminals.

*In my opinion, if they are pushing it, they have built in a way to remotely disable it. Hard pass.*

About 5% of the time my laptop requires an additional attempt at the fingerprint reader so I can log on. My phone is much worse, it probably works 10% of the time.

Now imagine you're in a life or death situation...

Unconstitutional.

Biden has committed treason and wants to be a tyrant by disarming the People.

He and the Democrats must be voted out, entirely, in 2024.

Until someone finds a way to get around it and post it on Tik Tok like they did with the Hyundai cars. So many of those were stolen after they figured that out and posted it.

And then guess what…you’ll have criminals breaking laws again. Who knew?!

A gun is nothing but a mechanical device. I don’t know how there ever wouldn’t be “a way around” such a thing. It’s absurd on many levels.

Government logic 101…. We have hundred of millions of legal gins in America with no such tech. We are going to promote and attempt to legislate new gins to have a tech that will cost more and possibly disable the gun when needed and we expect to see a drop in gun violence from the minuscule amt of guns this will place in the market. Sounds brilliant

Biden has already weighed in on this, you take your shot gun and fire twice in the air to scare them off.

Legal gun owners are only the problem to a tyrannical government.

Most of the gun violence is committed with stolen or illegally owned firearms. It's hilarious people buy that these idiots actually believe in "gun control" while simultaneously leaving the southern border practically wide open. The same morons that argue the war on drugs is futile because of illegal supply fail to see the same applies to almost anything illegally obtained.

How about 2 parent homes instead that encourages proper education to smarten up kids and by all means feel free to back off those meds given to kids for “ deficit disorders “. Use the parents to have those disorders worked out

If this ever happens, the ‘new gun’ market will crash and used guns will be insanely expensive.

Yeah, the facial recognition on my phone won't work sometimes if I'm wearing a hat or sunglasses. By the 3rd attempt, I have to type in the passcode. Imagine trying to do that with a gun during a situation.

"Your fingerprint and biometric grip aren't recognized, please type in your passcode."

Oh shite

Simply put, the more extra shite you put on or in something, the more expensive it becomes and easier it is to break.

Hard pass.
